You were lost, staring at him with no sense on the outside world.. nothing else mattered when you were near him. It was just true happiness.

"Hey y/n? Wanna go sit in the garden? I can make us some tea.."

His calming voice snapped you out of it, you smiled warmly and nodded happily.
"Yeah, what types of tea do you have?"

Basil took your hand, leading you to the kitchen.
"We have.. green tea, camomile, fruit and normal."  He moved his hand through the boxes, examining the labels of them all.

"I'll take green tea please.."
You both went to the sideboard, making tea together.. weren't you here for ice pops? It was summer.. you didn't care. Having tea with basil may be the happiest you will be today.  Though you already feel warm and fuzzy.. butterflies dancing beautifully in your stomach.

"Teas done!" Basil said cheerily.
He handed you the cup, making sure not to spill any..

"Thanks bas,,"  you took the tea, now slowly walking towards the door.

You and basil had finished your tea, sitting in the sun after planting the new flowers..
you brushed off your dirt covered hands and let out a deep breath.

"Phew, that was a lot of work.." you wiped your forehead with your wrist, trying to cool down.

"Maybe tea wasn't a good idea in the hot weather.. sorry."

Basil looked away, his flower moving gently as he did so.. the flower in his hair was very pretty.. soft and pink.

You walked over and gave him a hug, moving your head into his shoulder a little.. this was nice.

"Woah! Y/n what are you.. doing?"

You hesitated a reply.. but felt bad so you stopped hugging him and apologised.
"Sorry- you looked like you needed a hug."

"No, no!! It's fine.. you're fine.. I actually kinda liked the hug. I.. haven't had an honest one in so long."

You hugged him again after hearing that, burying your face into his shirt, collar flicking against your face a little...

Huh?

Basil just stroked your hair. I-

You made a silent squeak of happiness, your face obviously flushing red..

You could stay here forever.
