It had been a few months now.. you and basil had become pretty good friends! Sometimes you would go over to his garden and play him some songs ok your guitar or sometimes he would come over to your house and then you would play him some songs..
He loved to hear you play the guitar. He said it was always so calming! It made him feel better when he was down..
You felt happy knowing your playing had that effect on somebody you love..

You were going to basil's house today, to mess about and plant new flowers!!
You arrived in a comfy outfit, knocking the door cheerily.
"Oh, hey y/n!! Come in!"
You looked at basil for a moment, lost in thought... before he tapped your shoulder and guided you into the garden.
"I brought some seeds with me! They're poppy seeds.. poppies are so pretty. They are vibrant and have meaning. flowers can be so interesting!!" You took out the poppy seeds, handing basil the cardboard packaging.
"Poppies are really meaningful.. great choice y/n!!" You both planted the seeds and went inside to get some ice pops..
Today was gonna be a good day.
