| | a secret hideaway basil x reader | |

(This may be horrible- it's ok if it sucks though 🐟)

You walked out of your house guitar in hand, carefully crossing the road to the mass of bushes and trees on the other side. You brushed away a few branches to clear up a small path, you walked through and brushed some leaves out of your hair.

Your secret little space.

You sat down near the small patch of flowers there and took out your acoustic guitar.. you strummed a few chords to check it, tuning it up a little.
You played a little tune to yourself happily, humming along softly.. crash

What was that noise... you turned around to see some batteries on the floor.

Just as you went to pick them up.. a blond haired boy popped out of the bush!!

"I'm sorry for uh.. dropping those.." the boy said sheepishly with worried eyes.
"Oh,, it's fine don't worry." You gave him the batteries and went back to the flower patch..

"Tulips. Those are.. tulips." He said.. sitting down beside you.

"I didn't notice that.." you looked at him in a confused manner, brushing off the fact he randomly sat beside you.

You continued playing your guitar, playing a little louder now that you had somebody to listen to you.  It was kind of nice finally having somebody to watch you play..

"Woah.. you're good.." he said with surprise

"Aw, we'll I'm not that good.. I'm still learning,," You messed up a few of the notes, causing you to giggle at yourself.

(Time skip to the end of the song because he just sat and listened like a polite lil baby 🫂💕✨)

"That was really nice... OH!! I forgot to tell you my name by the way.. I'm basil." He said a bit more confidently.

"Basil is a lovely name..! I'm y/n."

You both talked to each other while you played.. both of you had become good friends by the end of the day! You both went home and slept happily till the next day...
