Emma turned towards the entrance. The young Asian man, Glenn, had been right. They had a few friends wanting to join the party. She got her knife and gun, if needed, at the ready.

Colton moved first, he raised his bow, shooting two bolts. Taking out the first two biters that entered the building. Glenn watched him, the way he moved, swift and on his toes. The boy could shoot that was for sure, he had to of learned that somewhere. While Colton reloaded his bow, Emma grabbed the knife attached to her thigh. Flipping it so she was holding the blade end, she threw it hitting a biter right in the forehead. Maggie took the bat from behind her back, that was tucked away in the duffel bag. She stepped forward and knocked a walker back, Glenn slid his machete from his belt to finish the job.

"Thanks" Maggie breathed. Emma nodded, "You too" she thanked back.

"You're still welcome to come" Maggie continued. Glenn nodded, this was the least they could do for them. How could you leave a woman and kid behind. They needed more people like them in camp, survivors. Besides it looked like they knew what they were doing.

Emma looked to Colton, who stood straight. He unclenched his jaw and gave a a small smile. The first time he'd seen the boys expression actually change.

"There's children, women too" Glenn added hoping it'd help them feel more at ease.

It'd been forever since they saw people. A night without looking over your shoulder scared about being ripped to shreds, sounded real nice to Colton and Emma.

Emma nodded, "Thank you, not a lot of people left like you in this world"

"Let's gather some supplies, then we can head back" Glenn said.

Emma took the bag on her back off, she stepped around the bodies and took her knife out of the walkers head. She wiped the blade off on it's shirt before continuing down an aisle. Colton grabbed his arrows, wiping them off as well before putting them in his quiver, that was strapped to his back.

Glenn turned to Maggie, "You sure about this?" Double checking if she was alright about inviting the strangers back to their camp.

"They're survivors, they need this. I'll talk to my dad." Is all she said before turning and continuing, packing things into the duffel.

Emma wasn't quite sure what to grab, she usually only packed things for her and Colton. So she grabbed a few extra of everything, for this group they were being brought to. It was the least she could do since they were bringing her in. Colton appeared around the corner of the shelf, his bow strapped to his back.

He gave a small smile, "This could be good for us" he spoke quietly.

She nodded, "Yeah, haven't seen people in weeks."

He took a step towards her, wrapping an arm around her, "We'll be just fine ma." He said affectionately. Colton loved his mother dearly, she's all he had his whole life. Not once letting him down, and he'd give or do anything to keep her by his side.

Cracking a smile at him, and ruffling his hair lightly. She turned and continued packing essentials.

"I know." Emma replied with a nod.

After Glenn got everything he thought they'd need and Maggie got a few of the tools Hershel asked for. He waited a bit, he didn't want to be rude and rush Emma and the boy. So him and Maggie stood at the front of the store patiently.

"Alright, we're good" Emma said, appearing from an aisle. Colton right behind her left shoulder.

"We rode horses here, so I'm not sure if -" before he could continue Colton spoke up.
