I wasnt sure whether things are getting cleared or more complicated.

He knew Wu Xin's past. He was on Yuan's side to kill Yanyi. But, why will Yanyi betray Yuan. This is impossible. There was only one common thing between Wu Xin and Yuan.

Seeing the letter we decided to enquire Fengming.

Oyang with his daughter left for Baling. "Inform me if any help needed from me".

On our way we halted at Lanlingjin. Wu Xin went inside making arrangements for Jingyi, Zewu-Jun and Bai's stay. I simply prefered standing under the peony tree. I still feel the same magic that I felt years ago.

An angel standing beneath the tree. This the same place where I met my life, my love, my soul.

Taking out his locket I cursed myself for not knowing his locket was missing.

Slouching beneath the tree I was again lost in our sweet moments.

Past

After returning from night hunt I was not able to find Yuan anywhere. Finally I saw him here beneath the peony tree. Holding Yuan from back, I kissed his neck when he turned to face me. Feeling his smile on my lips makes me feel glad to know he was missing me too.

Jin Ling - "What are you doing here? Why is it always when I dont find you anywhere you are here under this tree"

Sizhui - "Whenever you are not able to find me, you will find me here. I will always return here waiting to see you smile. When you are not in Lanlingjin this place lessens my lonliness. This is where my soul first recognized its mate" kissing me again he continued "when these flowers fall it reminds me of my jaunty action of shaking the tree unworried about any rules. And then I met the most beautiful person with whom I have always been cheerful. For whom, With whom rules were never able to bound me. He made me realise the true meaning of being independent. Who never restricted me for anything, who never forced me anything, always let me free to act as per my wish". Pulling me closer with a wink he continued,
"You know when these flowers shower on me I feel like you are giving me feral kisses".

It was autumn and the breeze was continously causing flowers to fall on ground. The thought of anyone else touching Sizhui irked me and I embraced him tight covering him from top to Bottom.

Sizhui - "Jin Ling"

Jin Ling - "Hmm"

Sizhui - "More than anything else where I am now is my most favorite place but still what are you doing? Why are you covering me as if anyone is going to attack me"

Jin Ling - "You know back then when you wore Wu Xin's clothes"

Making his way amidst my hands he popped his head out. With a raised eyebrow he looked at me.

Jin Ling - "I mean ... you know"

Stepping backwards from my hold Sizhui stood there with folded hands. "No, I don't know".

Jin Ling - "You know I dont like anyone else touching you. And.."

Sizhui - "And?"

Jin Ling - "What? Dont make me do this. You know I dont like anyone else touching you in a way I touch you. And, then you say these flowers when they fall on your skin you feel as if they are giving you feral kisses".

Yuan burst out laughing. Cupping my face he mumbled "Jin Ling, what should I do about you. Do you want to feel the feral kisses".

With excitement what else could I do besides nodding. He asked me to close my eyes. When I opened my eyes I saw him shaking the tree showering flowers on me.

"Rulan, I was also experiencing the same kisses"

He ran teasing me and I ran behind him.

Present

With lost hope I sat on ground. I dint realised how time had passed.

After some time with breeze and early morning dew drops the peonies fell on my skin. With each flower that touched my skin I wished if my Yuan was here, with me, giving me wet kisses. Closing my eyes I mumbled "I miss you so much Yuan". And then immediately a flower fell directly on my lips.

A lone tear fell from my eyes thinking its him. "Yuan".
