Aviva pov

"I understand. You did what you felt was right in the moment." My brother reassured me after I explained everything to them.
"Thank you for understanding, I thought you guys would be mad at me for lying to you. I'm so sorry its what Cam wanted." I informed with sorrow. Sofia took my hands in hers
"Mira don't be sorry for keeping the group safe, we're grateful you got us away from la Peligro." I pulled her into a tight hug and she did the same. There's no denying that Sofia is becoming my best friend.

*Ahem* "So is Camdon alive or are we to presume her... Dead?"
Mun was sitting next to my brother and across from Sofia and I, his question caused an uncomfortable shift in the room. No one wants my love to be dead, But we cant ignore the fact that those were gunshots we heard when we were making our escape.

"We can't think like that, Cam is a survivor." I answered

"Sooooo..." Mun dragged out looking at me for a better answer.

"So." I say with attitude this time "She'll survive."

"Alright well I need some food in my stomach, should we check this diners kitchen?" He says gesturing towards the a door leading to the rest of the small restaurant.

"Yes food." Veer says getting up from his seat to follow Mun.

"Lets just see what's here, we don't have much as it is." Sofia says while guiding me out of my seat.

Mun was the first at the door, it was red with a circle window, no electricity but the setting sun illuminated enough for us to see. He pushed the door open then immediately took a step back. "What's wrong, is there something in there?" My brother grabbed his nose and covered his mouth while backing away. Sofia drew her bow and I unsheathed my pocketknife from my bow. Mun was stood still, in a Weird way it looked as if he was taking in the horrid smell. 

Sofia and I rounded the corner, bracing our selves to for a fight but what we saw wasn't Zombies waiting to be kill, it was nothing but dead bodies blood and guts everywhere, limbs displaced as we as heads. The sun setting glow was now red which added to the absolute nightmare that was in front of us.

"What happened here?" My brother choked up.

No one answered, we couldn't. I just realized how cozy we have been at the hotel with running water,power, and food even if it was old dusty canned goods.

I took my time looking at each and every person feeling bad inside, I glanced at a scrawny man with an afro filled with all sorts of kinks and curls, he has more life than the other bodies and the most intact one, he sticks out from the rest with copper like skin. He is holding a smaller woman with dark smooth and shiny skin, and her braided hair is spread on his chest. I snapped out of my trance of these beautiful dead people to find everyone else left the room, I should do the same. I turn to get one last glance of them, But when I looked at the girls peacefully dead face I noticed something. The guy holding her, his chest, its moving. Its going up and down like he's breathing. Oh my God is he alive!?

My feet raced pass the grotesque mess around every inch of the floor to check that what im seeing is correct.

Upon approaching them I call for Veer as I knelt to the blood soaked ground. If he can help even a little it needs to be done.

Veer came busting in "What's wrong!?"
Sofia and Mun burst through directly after him.

"Help, Look they're breathing." I say pointing towards the beautifully fallen people.

My brother kneels next to me, then begins to take the vitals of the girl first "She's alive but barely, and I don't see any open wounds, she may just be dehydrated." He then takes the pulse of the man while searching his body for any cuts or slashes. "They need water and food...Sofia." Sofia raced to grab her water canteen and I went to grab a can of something I saw on the counter earlier when I was admiring the horrific scene.

After a while of Veer and I carefully trickling water on their lips, both of their mouths finally opened and they started drinking, suddenly they went from drinking to gulping down the water. The man jumped awake grabbing the Woman in his arms in a tighter grip, She opened her eyes which promptly caught mine and they were beautiful they had this likeness to Cam's, a similarity that caused my breath to hitch. I feel like I need to protect her. 

"GET AWAY FROM US!!!" The man shouted abruptly. He had no weapon but he spoke with fire, Sofia had already drawn her bow ready to shoot "No Sofia don't!" I shouted, I need to calm them down. I put my hands up showing I wish them no harm "Hey look, See no weapon we're not trying to hurt you okay, we gave you and your partner here something to drink and we have this can of food you two could eat, all you have to do is calm down. We're not trying to hurt you." I say moving closer to them as I grab the can of food, I motioned for Sofia to bring me her knife. I opened the can and it turns out to be peaches, I passed the can to him, he took it eagerly. They both began to eat.

"My name is Aviva, this is my brother Veer and our friends Sofia and Mun. What's your name."

"Lue." His voice came out softer than when he last spoke, He pointed towards the woman who was now eating the peaches "Sakai." 

"You have lovely names. We can leave you alone if you want however there is strength in numbers." I say trying to convince them to join us "My brother is a nurse, he can nurse you back to health if that's something you want." 

"Yes...Please." There's no anger in his voice just desperation. "Great we should leave this room, it's better away from this massacre."
