Sakai, Vi, and Lue were talking about something and they noticed us staring, so Vi motioned for us to come here and we obliged.

This blood trail I've been following didn't make sense to me at first, the thing that drew me to it was that it's Camdons initials... C.V. So I followed because I had no leads, Drifting to wherever the dried blood took me. But now I get it, I realized it was fate that led me here.

I came here a bit earlier in the day and I have been hiding on this rocky ledge to the left of this diner. Camdon and those people she's with arrived around 30 minutes ago. A knife comes to my throat and an unknown assailant grabs me by my hair "I know what you want and I can help." Who the fuck does this guy think he is grabbing me by my hair and holding a knife to my throat.

"Calm down. You want Camdon don't you? Luckily for you I want her gone." He whispers in my ear and then takes a deep inhale of my hair.

"Who are you?" I say in gritted teeth. The man lets me go with a slight push. I turn around to see a strong built Asian man around my age towering over me.

"Your friend... If you take me up on my offer." I stand up to hear him out.

"Shoot." I say wanting this encounter to be completely over.

"I saw you back at the hotel, and heard your little speech. You are in love with Camdon. I however hate her fucking guts. She sees me for me."

His tone went lower "That isn't always a good thing."

This guy is dangerous, He seems a splinter away from becoming a menace. I need to get my Camdon away from him as soon as possible.

"What's the plan?" I say in all seriousness.

"I will get everyone away from the diner and while I distract them you can make your move and kidnap your victim. How does that sound?"

"Easy enough." I respond

What the hell. That guy gives me the creeps But at least I have a way to get to my Camdon. We'll be together soon baby.

Cam pov

"So this is where you all have been the last couple days."

"Yep" Vi answers

"Aviva!" Veer called out and ran to hug his sister
"Why the fuck would you leave a note and just take off? If Lue and SaKai didn't leave too."
"But they did and we are all fine so stop worrying."

Veer looked at me up and down then nodded his head for me to follow him. I followed him pass a door into a kitchen while Vi introduced Sol to Sofia.

"Sit. Let me treat your wounds. What happened to your hand?"

"I punched a guy in the head."

"Wow your hand should be completely shattered, can you make a fist?"

"Yeah it did hurt like hell at first but the pain is manageable now so im fine."

He looked at my shoulder in shock

"You got shot!"

"Oh yeah I did, its fine though bullet went in and out."

Veers kept examining my body in awe of how fast I was healing from my injuries when Mun walked in.

"Veer are you coming?"
He says without acknowledging me.
"Where?"
"Everyone's going to forage for some berries before the sun sets. The more the merrier you know."

Vi walks in and takes a seat on my lap.
"Im staying with Cam. Go pick many berries for us brother."

Veer kisses Vi on the head and heads out with Mun and everyone else.
