Chapter 12: Cave disaster

Serena woke up the next morning and got out of bed, she finally learned how to make breakfast herself and she managed to make some pancakes for herself.

All she could think about was last night, Ash's beautiful eyes.... She regretted not kissing him then and there.

But now it was a new day, today she decided on her way to the next gym she was going to catch a Pokemon that she wanted - Swablu, that evolved into the beautiful Pokemon Altaria and then could be mega evolved into Mega Altaria.

Serena decided she would use a bit of Ash's money to buy herself a phone, as she was going to walk to the next gym alone, as Ash had work.

Serena packed her stuff and set out to find the Swablu.

But unfortunately, someone tagged along...

"Serena! I see a Pokemon that you might like!" said Shauna.

"Huh? What Pokemon?" Serena responded.

"This gooey one! scan it with your Pokedex!"

Serena took out the Pokedex that Ash had given her and scanned the gooey Pokemon - its name was Goomy.

"Goomy, the soft tissue pokemon. To keep its body moist, Goomy lives in places where it's dark and damp"

"Sorry Shauna, I don't want to catch this-"

"But look how cute it is!" Shauna replied, "It's so gooey and its face is just precious!"

Serena sighed and continued to walk down the Route.

"So sticky... So disgusting.."

"I agree! These routes are horrific!" Shauna replied.

Serena just looked at her with a stupid kind of stare, that stare that would be indicating that you don't want to hear whatever that person wants to say.

"You know Serena, you seem like you're ignoring me, why is that?" Shauna asked.

"Mainly because I'm trying to get to the next city and you keep annoying me and it's well... Annoying!" She replied with a sassy tone.

"Oh wow, ok then, I'll shut up!" Shauna answered.

They both walked in silence until...

"OMG! This is one creepy house!" Shauna said to Serena, "Look at it!" 

Shauna pointed at the house.

"Cool? And I should care... Why?" Serena asked.

"Well... Look at it! It's super... Creepy!" Shauna replied.

"Uh-huh"

They both again walked in more silence till they reached where Serena was wanted to go: A cave called "Evolution cave"

(Evolution cave is a cave that has certain mega stones inside)

Serena would enter the cave carefully... She had already heard the terrifying stories of young women and young men getting lost...

But as she went deeper, she finally found it, the Altarianite, Serena rushed out to grab it and she held it high in the air, almost like the way Ash held the Alola champion trophy all those years ago.

"Ok now I just need to get out," Serena said.

"So um, what way did we get in?" Shauna asked.

Serena tried to think, but she...

"Forgot"

"What do you mean Serena?"

"I forgot what way we came..." Serena replied.
