I wake up tot the sound of my incredibly annoying alarm. I get dressed, brush my hair, and brush my teeth. I go downstairs following the smell of French toast.

My mom comes up to me and hugs me. She asks, "How did you sleep, Mackenzie?" I answer, "Great." Even though it's obvious by my dark circles that I'm tired. My mom places a plate with French toast and butter bread on it, and I eat it right up.

I mean, I do need to eat well if I wanna learn today at school. Although my meal wasn't the healthiest, it was still delicious.

I go upstairs to my room, and dig through my huge basket of books to find The Hunger Games. I love that book, so when I find it, I pick it up and flop onto my bed to read it. I've read it million times, but why not? Did I mention I'm an extreme fangirl? Well, I am.

It's time for school, so I pack my bag and my lunch. I do pack a few books such as The Hunger Games, Mockingjay, and The Fault In Our Stars. My backpack is quite heavy for a 7th grader's.

I go to the bus stop, and wait for the bus to come.

My phone is gripped tightly in my hand when the bus comes, since I lost it there once. I never want that to happen again, for sure. This IPhone costed a lot of money.

Enough thinking. The bus is gonna leave without me if I don't get on. So I step onto the bus, and I remember what my mother said this morning: Mackenzie, you're going to be 13 tomorrow. Set up a Facebook and any other social media you want today, so you have to tomorrow- your 13th birthday.

I go to the app store on my phone, and I tap 'Facebook'. It brings be to the Sign Up page, and I create my own Facebook called Girly Book Nerd. I friend request my parents and brother, and I also set up an Instragram, Pinterest, Twiteer, and Tumblr account with the same username.

I mean, why not?

We're soon st school, so I turn off my phone and put it in my pocket. My pocket does close, since it uses buttons. My phone is safe in there.

I enter the school building and my best friend runs to me. "Happy birthday, happy birthday, Mackenzie!" She shouts. "My birthday is tomorrow." I reply. "Oh well. Happy early birthday then!" She says. I give her a cute little smile, and head off to my locker.

Now, my locker is full with quite a lot of books that are not my textbooks. Okay, maybe I'm a little obsessed with books. Just a little.

Okay, a lot. I have about 12 books in my locker right now. The bell rings.

I get out my textbooks, and head to class.
