Arya's POV
"Would you like to meet her?" I askedHe looked over at me, unsure almost.
"There's no pressure too" I said
"No of course I want to meet her, I just, don't know what I would do, or say."
"That's what I'm saying. If you think it's too much today you don't have to, i have to pick her up from daycare in an hour which is why I offered. But I get it, this must be extremely overwhelming for you." I finished
"Honestly, it's been more exciting. Yes it's daunting but it's also a lovely feeling to know there's someone out there who has half my DNA" he smiled, I smiled back.
"Ella, her names Ella." I said
"Ella. My daughter is named Ella." He spoke to himself "oh, sorry. Our daughter." He continued while I let out a soft chuckle. "Does the name mean anything?" He asked
I shook my head "thinking of a name was really difficult, and honestly I couldn't find anything that stuck. When I was in labour, it was bad. Like, bad bad." I paused "and I had this nurse her name was also Ella and she was honestly incredible. I don't know how I would have gone through labour if it wasn't for her. When we got to naming the baby the only name I could think of was Ella, so yeah, that became her name."
"That's a really lovely gesture Arya." He continued "so your labour? It wasn't pleasant?" He asked
"Oh far from." I laughed
"If you're comfortable, I'd like to know?" He asked "in fact not just your labour, but the entire pregnancy really."
"Yeah yeah, of course. Are you sure you don't want me to get you anything? Coffee? Tea?" I asked him again
"Actually, a black coffee no sugar would be great thank you."
I nodded, jolting up and walking towards the kitchen which was connected in an open plan format to the lounge.
"Anyways yeah, well obviously after that night I didn't really think that I would fall pregnant in the first place. We used protection." I said rather quickly.
Ah. This is awkward.
"That we did." He laughed while I let out a small giggle
"Anyways, didn't expect anything. This might be a little TMI but I missed my period, and once again didn't think much because I tend to have a bit of a messy cycle. One day I went to the pharmacy actually to grab a couple bits and saw a pregnancy test there and decided to just grab a couple incase."
"You're good. Not TMI at all. It's normal." Harry said when I paused pouring the coffee into a mug and walking back over to him. "You're not having anything?" He asked
"I'm alright." He nodded. "I don't know it was like something was telling me to take a test, so I did. And it was positive. You know there are false positives and all so at that point I didn't like 100% believe it. I took two more and when those ended up being positive I pretty much freaked out." I laughed as I continued, he had his gaze on me, and unlike me he seemed a lot more serious.
"I didn't know what to do, it was like the worst timing ever really. I had just graduated, secured a new job and I was about to move out with Mia, my best friend. I remember that day I just cried, and cried, and cried. It was emotionally horrible." I chucked once again
"I can't imagine what that must have been like for you Arya" he sincerely spoke
I let out a smile before continuing "I mean, coming to terms with it was difficult but I had Mia. She was my rock, is my rock. We had planned to move in together after we graduated and having a baby would completely change that. She stuck by me, literally dropped everything to be there for me and Ella. We found this place, a place suitable for the three of us and she made sure I basically didn't go insane. She's Ella's god mother and she's family." I let my shoulders down, and let out a large smile. The love I had for Mia was endless.
