Harry's POV
"She's being transferred up to a ward and they'll begin the surgery soon, she'll be in for two hours or so and then they said they'll expect her to stay in hospital for a few days to monitor everything." Kian came over to me, taking a seat next to me against the incredibly uncomfortable hospital chairs, he sighed."She'll be okay." I said softly
"Are you trying to console me or yourself?" He said back
"Huh?" I asked, looking up at hun
"Nothing." He shrugged his shoulders, "I know she will be. The doctor said it was good Mia managed to bring her here in time, once the appendix bursts the bacteria begins to spread and that can cause serious damage but she's my sister, if anyones strong enough to get through it, it's her." He continued
"You're right, she is incredibly strong."
Jeff was now with us.
"Harry?" He asked
"Yeah?"
"You're good, right?" He asked
"Why wouldn't I be?" I nonchalantly spoke back
"You don't look okay." He said softly
"I'm fine." I snapped quickly
"Harry, it's okay to care about her. You can't keep denying the way you feel about her-"
"He's right" kian butted in "I don't even know who this guy is but he is right."
"Jeff, Harry's manager and friend, pleasure to meet you." Jeff extended his hand out while they both introduced themselves to each other
"Anyways, Jeff is right. I know you care about my sister, anyone can see you do. I see the way you look at her, and the way she looks at you. My sister will be okay Harry. And I know she'll be happy to see you here once she wakes up."
"I do care about your sister, she's my friend, she's the mother of my daughter, of course I want her to be okay-"
"Friend?" Jeff butted in, I looked over at him rolling my eyes as I did
"Both of you are unbelievable." I mumbled while they both snickered amongst each other.
Was my little crush on Arya actually that obvious? I thought I was doing a great job covering it up, I thought I looked completely fine but clearly not.
The surgery was successful and Arya was now back in her room resting. She had yet to regain consciousness but myself, Jeff and kian were all extremely relieved. Jeff had just left since it pretty late now, leaving myself and Kian to wait outside.
"You don't have to stay Harry, the doctors say she's going to wake up tomorrow so there's no point staying tonight"
"I want to, I'll stay. Why don't you go home, freshen up for tomorrow, I'll stay here with her."
"Harry what will you do? Where will you sleep?"
"I'll be fine, don't worry about me. Please just check in on Mia and Ella when you can, I FaceTimed Ella and she seemed a little confused but she was still pretty good-"
"Kian?" Our conversation was interrupted by a woman, she seemed to be about middle aged maybe in her late 40's or so, she had tan skin and dark hair which was tied behind her in a little bun. She looked so familiar yet I couldn't put my finger on how.
"Mom?" He asked, clearly in disbelief
"What are you doing here?" She asked more hastily
This woman was Arya's mother, the same mother who had basically shunned and abandoned her children when they needed her the most.
