Arya's POV
I quickly got ready and then proceeded to get Ella ready, Harry told me the event was obviously very casual but I still wanted to dress Ella up to make her feel like a true birthday princess.Harry got her this mint green dress that came with a matching tutu when he first found out about her and today seemed like the perfect day to whip that out.
After that, I began brush her hair and tied it up into two little pony tails on either side of her head, finishing them off with two lilac purple bows that Miss Ella had picked herself.
Harry had asked me to keep Ella in the room until everyone had arrived since they all wanted to surprise her together. Eventually, we could hear more and more voices and I noticed Ella beginning to become more and more impatient as to why she couldn't leave her bedroom. I rang Harry so that he could confirm that we were now able to finally leave.
"SURPRISE!!!" When we walked out of the room we were met with our friends and family and a bunch of confetti that had been popped towards our way. Not only that, but the room that had a couple decorations around was now covered in a beautiful rainbow balloon garland, filled with gold accents and flowers. Everyone had somehow been able to transform my living room into every three year olds dream. It was bright, it was loud and it was oh so playful. To top it all off, there was a mini ball pit on one side of the lounge and a bouncy castle on the other.
"Ahhh!!" Ella screamed at first when she heard the confetti popper go but instantly eased when she saw everyone around her. "Wowieee!!" She exclaimed "is that cake?!?" She screamed excitedly, running away from and over towards the cake table.
"Arya?" Harry asked, coming over to me
"Harry... this is... this is beautiful how did you get all this done in two hours? I don't even know how to thank you" I smiled
"Don't thank me, this was for Ella. I just thought she would love something bright and colourful like her personality, she deserves so much more than this." He smiled
I continued to scan the room, admiring all the effort he had put in and seeing all of our nearest and dearest around us.
"Thank you Harry, truly, you outdid yourself"
"Like I said, don't thank me Arya." He smiled "anyways, let's get this party started! First up we have games, and then Miss Ella's favourite, cake and of course presents after that!" He ran over to Ella picking her up and spinning her around, my heart was literally melting.
We started off by playing pass the parcel which resulted in some hilarious dances by everyone, followed by pin the tail on the donkey. Ella also used this time to jump on her bouncy castle. It was finally time to cut the cake.
I don't think I had ever seen ella as excited and as happy as she was today. Harry had ordered a multi coloured back that had "happy birthday Ella" written on it in hot pink icing, the cake was topped with three pink candles.
"Ari go on!" Kian said, pushing me towards the cake table where Harry was already standing carrying Ella in his arms.
"Alright family photo for sure" Mia chuckled as she grabbed her phone
I stood next to Harry, feeling his arm snake around my lower waist pulling me in so that my head was now leaning against his shoulder.
"Ahhh! So cute you guys!" Sarah cheered "what an adorable little family" she continued
After our photo session, we sang happy birthday and little miss Ella got to cut her cake.
Everyone was now mingling. I could feel the area around my wound throb, the anaesthesia now completely worn off and not to mention the amount of walking I had done today at the aquarium only made the pain worse. I poured myself a glass of water and took a seat against one of the bar stools by the kitchen, admiring the people in the room who were all here to celebrate my little girl.
