'Rani' Kajol said and hugged her at once 'how did this happen? Are you okay?' Kajol asked when she pulled back, she looked at Rani's wrapped hand and the bandage placed to her temple, Rani looked silently at Shahrukh and Kajol rolled her eyes 'I told him everything. Tell me what happened with you'

'We rode the car, they started fighting and Saif couldn't keep an eye on the road, a bus came from the left and hit the car. Preity was the most hurt'

'Where is she now?' Shahrukh asked sadly

'Both of them are sedated, thank god the air bags popped out, and that we were wearing the seat belts yet they were both hurt the most' Rani replied

'Do you want me to take you home?' Kajol asked kindly

'No, I won't leave' Rani nodded in denial

'Okay, sit down. We are waiting here with you' Shahrukh said calmly and the three of them sat down to the chairs placed in the corridor

Rani rested her head over Kajol's shoulder 'you were right, Shahrukh. If we have listened to you from the beginning, this wouldn't have happened' Rani said sadly

'All we need to think about now is Preity, the next days will be tough for her' Shahrukh said kindly

'yeah' Rani said barely whispering, tears going down her cheeks. She closed her eyes and surrendered to sleep

'Poor thing' Kajol said whispering and wrapped her arms around sleeping Rani, Kajol sighed 'you were the one who really knew him from the very beginning. I am sorry Shahrukh'

'I should have taken her words seriously' Shahrukh said sadly

'You did, you were trying to keep him away from me' Kajol commented then bit her lower lip in embarrassment

'It is not only you; he might have already cheated with other girls' he explained 'nothing stops him'

'We all didn't want to face her with the truth for her own sake Shahrukh, including you. Your intentions...'

'...Were good' he said interrupting and covered his face with his palms

'Yes' she said helplessly knowing that he finally saw things how she does 'I really don't know what to say'

He sighed loudly putting his hands away from his face 'I can't believe that you were so dumb to not to see that he didn't change' he said coldly and blew

'And I can't believe that you trusted mom' Kajol said coldly rolling her eyes

'Please. It is not the same thing' Shahrukh said coldly, they stayed silent for half the day, waiting near the rooms until both Shahrukh and Kajol fell asleep. The three of them were woken up by a scream coming from Preity's room. Rani ran towards the room, Kajol held Shahrukh's hand and they followed Rani.

'Get out' Preity said screaming at Saif who was standing next to her bed in his patient's gown

'What did you do to her?' Rani asked in fear

'I was just holding her hand' Saif said sadly

'Why the hell are you here?' Shahrukh asked in anger

'I don't want to see his face, take him out' Preity screamed hysterically hiding her face with her palms

'Preity, I am sorry. Please forgive me' Saif kneeled begging and tried holding her hand which made her scream louder. The nurses and a doctor finally appeared; they held Preity and sedated her
