When Tommy woke up, he hadn't expected to be back home. Not the dirt shack he would build, or Logstedshire, no... Home, before the SMP, was something he left when he was very young. But now he was back, and when he looked in a mirror he didn't have the scars or darkened eyes that told stories of war. No... When he looked in a mirror he smiled, was scar free and was only 7 years old again, he was a kid again.

"Tommy, are you up yet?" Phil's voice came through the door and Tommy yawned sleepily, what did he use to call Phil? He forgot, but he'll settle with dad for now. Besides, Phil raised him anyway. He just wished that before Wilbur and him fought that he called him dad more often.

"Dad?" Tommy asked, and he heard someone choke a bit, a laughing giggling sound sounded and a deep chuckle as well. Warmth flooded through Tommy as he recognised Techno's deep monotoned chuckle, a smile taking over his face as he imagined his long pink hair with crimson eyes that were warm.

"He called you dad!" Wilbur's voice, probably around 14 right now, exclaimed happily. There was the sound of someone dancing a bit, though it sounded more like hops around and Tommy could almost imagine Wilbur bouncing around and waving his arms as he 'silently' celebrated something.

Tommy's hair was a brighter gold than he remembered, as well. His door opened and it was Techno, with a lot less scars, standing against the door frame with a smirk on his face, his crimson eyes were filled with amusement and Tommy giggled, reaching out for him.

Techno walked forward, picking the now seven year old up, and walking out of Tommy's room. Tommy simply rested his head on Techno's shoulder tiredly, but he managed to keep himself awake as they made it to the kitchen. He'll let himself be a kid, he'll allow himself the childhood he never got to have.

"Someone's tired." Wilbur teased, Tommy lifted his head up and reached out for Wilbur. Worry flashed over his face before he picked him up from Techno's grip. Tommy buried his face in Wilbur's shoulder and wrapped his arms around him in a hug tightly. "Did you have a nightmare?" He asked, and Tommy nodded, taking a breath as Wilbur rubbed circles in his back.

"He had a nightmare?" Worry flitted through Phil's voice as Tommy felt Techno pause, wherever he was in the kitchen. Wilbur nodded as Tommy tightened his hold on Wilbur. Tears filled his eyes as he remembered the timeline he had been in. He didn't want to go back there. He didn't want to go back there when Dream was there or where... Where Wilbur died, or where Techno hated him and wanted him dead. He just wanted to relax at home, with his family.

"It's okay, Toms, we are here. You're safe, you know that right?" Wilbur asked, Tommy hesitated for only a moment before nodding as he relaxed once more. He was home. He was safe. And he knew when Wilbur and Phil got in their fight in two years, he'd go to Technoblade and cling to him. He won't hide under his bead in his and Wilbur's eventually shared room, not like last time. He's sorry to Wilbur, but he is not leaving home.

"What would you like for breakfast, Toms?" Phil asked, and Tommy didn't even hesitate.

"Potato soup?" He lifted his head and looked at him and Techno, he missed Techno's soup and he wasn't even afraid to admit that. Techno's surprised face and Phil's shocked one were enough to make him giggle as Wilbur groaned playfully. He probably thought Tommy would say Pancakes or something, like he used to.

"We can do that, sure." Techno chuckled as Wilbur pretended to die dramatically, still with Tommy in his arms. He squealed and giggled like crazy as Wilbur made sure he was okay as he laid on the floor dramatically.

"It's not that bad, Wilbur. It could have been worse and he asked for Phil's special stew." Techno offered, and suddenly he was sitting in Wilbur's lap being hugged tightly and thanked repeatedly as Phil squawked in shocked betrayal.

"My stew is not that bad!" Phil cried out as Techno moved around the kitchen with practised ease, Wilbur decided not to move at all, and instead cling to Tommy in the middle of everything and everyone.

"Wilbur, can you take Tommy to the living room?" Phil asked, a smile on his face as Techno practically danced around Wilbur, and ignoring Tommy reaching out for a potato. Wilbur hummed in mock thought before getting up and carrying Tommy with him to sit in front of the fireplace.

Tommy hummed as he grabbed a book and sat back in Wilbur's lap once more.

"Read to me?" Tommy asked, showing Wilbur's favourite book, The Hunger Games.

"Of course." Wilbur smiled, opening it and beginning to read.

They were found two hours later curled up by the fireplace, reading the second book now, Tommy almost falling asleep to Wilbur's comforting voice as his eyes followed along across the page. Wilbur was speaking in Piglin, something they had been trying to teach Tommy when Techno kept slipping into said language. Tommy had learned it with Wilbur when he was 12, and it seemed he still remembered it... And Enderian.

Tommy's only regret with not wanting to go with Wilbur in two years is because He won't meet Ranboo or Tubbo. He hummed quietly when Techno picked him up from Wilbur's lap, he was sleepy again.

"Come one, time to eat. Let's go." He chuckled when Wilbur groaned, bookmarking where he had been last, putting the book back on the shelf and following to the dining room and sitting at the table, Tommy beside him who smelled the potato soup and smiled happily. It smelled just like he remembered.

He smiled happily as Phil sat at the table, they all ate happily as Tommy told them about the nightmare, something he was making up on the spot because he didn't want to relive anything of the future. A monster chased him down as he ran through a maze terrified seemed good enough, and it seemed so when Wilbur looked at him sadly.

"You can sleep with me tonight." He offered and Tommy smiled happily at him, gratefulness in his eyes. They finished eating, and all day they lounged around the living room, not going out for their chores since Tommy had a nightmare the night before.

And that night, when he went to bed. He slept peacefully for the first time in years. No nightmares in sight as Wilbur hummed to lull him asleep, the quiet chatter of Phil and Techno out in the living room as his eyes fluttered close and he succumbed to the warming grasp of sleep.
