I sorta just made this for some comfort thingy cus I needed it or smthing lmao but I hope this is good ^^

(Also this is a slight implied fem reader but only for a clothing bit that isn't even that important)

You sat in a classroom with a few other students, just chatting a bit. It was the overnight stay for first years, which was basically one big sleepover to celebrate (?) The end of Final exams before summer break. It was also considered "study camp".

You had a pretty decent day so far, only helping out students when needed and basically looking after the unruly ones. Your day was fine until night came.

There was a shrill scream that sounded throughout the halls, gaining the entire school's attention. It sounded pretty close, so you ran out to investigate, not before having your students stay in the room and ushering any other wandering students inside random classrooms just in case.

You ran down the hallway until you found a group of students near a staircase. They appeared to be distressed, frightened. One was a young girl, struggling in the grasp of the tall, humanoid like creature. You attempted to tackle it from behind in hopes of freeing the young girl. Thankfully, it worked, but it didn't seem phased and quickly went back to trying to retrieve the girl again. Before it could completely get ahold of her, you called out to her friends to get her somewhere safe and hide. They did as told and ran off, probably around the corner, still watching as the creature instead went for you. It succeeded, and the only thing you could hear were the voices of those students and their footsteps as they ran ahead to you. From there, you pretty much blacked out and awoke in a strange place.

You rubbed your temple in hopes of soothing your growing headache as you groaned. Slowly, you sat up, taking notice of the water you were just laying in, your dampened hair, and the wet clothes that stuck to your skin.

Gross.

Atop your lower body laid some random blanket, just sitting there.

The water swished around as you moved your legs to get the feeling back into them, removing the blanket and placing it on your shoulders instead for warmth.

There were a few large supernaturals running around, as if they had to be somewhere and were late. You tiredly reached out to some for help, but none even spared you a glance as they continued to run to God knows where.

Where were you? What happened? Why are you here?

You could already feel tears prickling out the corners of your eyes, burning slightly. You sniffled.

Oh God, you were gonna cry. The first thing you do when you get stranded somewhere new? Cry, apparently.

Your tears splashed into the water below you as you tucked your legs underneath your frame, shaking. You were frantically looking around, your heart beating unnervingly loud in your ears as you tried to find a way out or someone that would help you. By now, most supernaturals had probably found their destinations and were gone, leaving the whole place uncomfortably quiet, only your sobs to break the silence.

You knew you might have looked pathetic; curled up into a ball with a blanket acting as some cover-up as you tried to contain yourself, failing miserably. Not to mention your disheveled hair and ruined clothes. In short, you were a pathetic-looking wreck.
