Lisa's pov
I was walking on the shore alone, I don't feel tired for the first time, I can't feel anything like the numbness embraced me already. I can't hear anything as if everything muted, and my taste turns tasteless...
I was here in an island that seems to be my last land. I was here with no place to run and I will be here without even seeing my mom and dad...Without even telling them that I'm alive.
I'm sick of this place, I miss my homeland...
"Are you hoping for someone to come and save you?"
"It should be Jennie... But the pages turned to be unexpected so I know what you feel. The feeling of being disappointed because the person you only have becomes your greatest enemy." Kai added. He stood up next to me while facing the calm sea.
"You... You don't really need to blame your self Lisa. It's not your fault that she changed,it's what she was. You and I are both fooled..." he said that made me glance at him.
"But I wasn't stupid as you." I seriously utter that stopped him, he suddenly laughed looking at me.
"Stupid? Haha! Well... You are Lisa."
"You know what I love seeing you crashing Jennie. I love seeing you blaming her, hating her, cursing her like an inhuman person. I'm enjoying to see you looking at her as a trash! Hahahahha!" he added.
"I remembered how you choosed to die for her, that was pure doesn't it? I saw her eyes that night Lisa... I can't believe that that love will go this far. Hahhahaha!" he said again but I didn't utter a word. I'm tired wasting my words.
I take my steps walking away.
" I love seeing someone sacrificing while being thorn apart. "I heard he said that stopped my pace.
"Lisa... Those eyes.. They never lied." he meaningly added. I don't know what he meant by that but there's no space in my head for that nonsense words, it will never changed everything today.
I want to surrender...
Jennie's pov

I opened the window to watch two persons putting flowers in thier daughters grave, while celebrating her birthday.
I pull out my phone inside my bag and take a picture of Lisa's parents. I know how much Lisa missed her parents..
"C'mon, mom's waiting." I told my driver then closed my window. I faced the front then we leaved the place.
On our way to my house the rain started pouring.We reached it already and I just waited for the driver to stop the car infront of the house main door.
He opened the door of the car while holding an umbrella.I slowly step down the car while wearing black heels then walked with him till I reached the door. My maid opened the door for me.
"Ms. Jennie. She asked me but I told her what you told me to say." she said in her lowered head.
"Thankyou." I utter then walked inside.
Mom was sitting on one of the seat waiting for me. I forced a smile while walking towards her.
"You're always late." she said.
"You know that I have a lot of works... "
"I know, I heard about that. So you're staying at your company twenty-four seven, you're been working hard Rubyjane. You're not even going home and stayed there at night... Are you sure you're doing alright?" she concernly asked.
*smiled "I'm fine mom, I f-feel tired but I enjoyed working than doing nothing." I answered in assurance.
She suddenly glance outside through the glass wall.
"You changed your driver? Where's Kai?" she asked all of a sudden. My grip on the seat infront of me tighten then look at her.
"Ah well mom, he's not just a driver he's my personal assistant. I asked him to work with some of my current projects out of town."
"Really??" she's asking with a tone of suspicion. I managed to smile.
"Yes Mom.*glance at the foods* you cook all of this?" I tried to changed the subject.
"I helped the maid, well... C'mon let's have a seat." she said so I pull the chair then sitted.
Suddenly I heard footsteps coming that made me look behind.
"Good evening Hon. You're finally home." Jiwon said smiling while holding a bottle of wine then opened it before pouring some on my glass and to mom.
"Yo-you're finally home??" I utter in surprised because it was unexpected.
"It ended sooner than I expected. I'm happy to finally be home."he said then sitted.
" He called me. It's good to know and well since he's home maybe he can assist you with your job Rubyjane. You don't need to be busy. "mom said that made me awkwardly smiled.
" Just stay at home. "he said that made me look at him.
" But you k-know I'm hands on to all my works. Just let me work alone, I know Jiwon have more priorities. Ri-right? "I glance at him. He look at mom.
"Well Rubyjane... We've talked and discussed about you settling in. You are my daughter Jennie and that's why Jiwon is your husband is to take good care of you, actually you don't need to work. You can live without working hard." mom said directly.
"Just live as a good wife while taking good care of your children's." she added that paused me.
"Jennie I think... It's time for us to be a whole family.Let's have a child." Jiwon said that made me gulped then look away. I felt my sweat forming on my forehead as well as my palms.
Suddenly my phoned ringed and it was Kai that caught my attention. I told him not to call me unless it was an emergency.
"Who is that?" mom asked.
"U-uhm.. Work. Excuse me for a second." I told them then stood up leaving my seat. I walked away from them before answering the call.
"What's wrong?" I started.
"Jennie Lisa is missing." he answered on the other line.
"W-what?? Kai it's impossible for her to scape that place! D-did she run down the water??" I said but maintain my self whispering.
"She can't swim that sea Jennie. Maybe she's just there—"
"FIND HER! You should see her before I returned there Kai!" I strictly said then shut ny phone down.
"What's wrong?" Jiwon asked in concern when I returned.
"Ahm.. Kai called and something just happened. I think i need to check it tonight."
"Work? You're leaving?" mom asked.
"Ye-yeah."
"Jiwon just came home. I think it's better for you to stay, just let Jiwon handle it."
"B-but—"
"I thought he's a good guy, I know he can handle that Jennie. Just stay for tonight." he cut me off.
