It was Ananya ofcourse. The only person on earth with whom Teja cannot bear even a proximity of 6 miles. The flip in her mood was noticed by Karan.

Karan- Teja are you alright?
Teja- Yup! Your crush is here!
Karan- Yeah (constantly staring at Teja) and she looks beautiful!
Teja- (fumed and and gave him a look) Toh jaa na uske paas why are you sitting here?
Karan- Okay fine.

Teja expected him to stay. This action of his was hurtful. Teja was not someone who would get drunk more often. But once she did it's hard to handle her. She was upset and took a shot. Realising she is fine and it's okay to have more she had a couple of shots one after the other. Varun noticed her but was not keen on talking to her as they weren't too close. He went upto Karan.

Varun- Karan! Ask Teja to stop. It's not good for her.
Karan- what? Where is she?
Varun- woh counter ke paas.
Karan- Thik hai main dekhta hu.

He went upto her.

Karan- Teju kya kar rhi hai. Leave this.

Teja jerked his hand.

Teja- stay away! Jaa n apni crush ke paas! I am fine!
Karan- yeah I can see how fine you are. Get off the counter.
Teja- No!
Karan- Teju please you know n drinking is not your cup of tea.
Teja- Hnn sab kuch toh Ananya ko hi aata hai n.
Karan- Teju please it's not about her.

And she dozed off.....

While Karan was busy being all excited Teju's phone rang, it was her mother. He didn't know what to say he couldn't have dropped her to her house in this condition. So he missed the call and messaged her mother.
'Aai I will be staying at Sakshi's house for today. Assignments complete karne hai. Aap tension mat lena'
She replied 'okay.'

He was relieved now and called Sakshi told her about everything that happened and asked her for help. Sakshi was Teja's bestfriend. She was happy that her girl was in love. She assured him to take her.

Karan was just recollecting all his thoughts when suddenly a conversation of his and Teja flashed into his mind.

Karan- Sharma!

Karan- are you mad! She calls me bro!
Teja- Toh! Why can't people normalise calling each other 'bro'. I mean what's wrong in that.
Karan- yeah fine! But she's not my type.
Teja- Tera kuch nhi ho skta!
Karan- mujhe laga tu apna naam suggest karegi! (With a smirk)
Teja- Main aur tu!!!! Pagal hai kya! The pair is gonna be so disgusting I can't even imagine please!
Karan- Kyu kya dikkat hai mujhme?
Teja- shakal dekhi hai apni?
Karan- kya kharabi hai! Terse toh achhi hai.
Teja- mujhe nhi pasand.
Karan- Teri choice hi bekaar hai. Ek din tujhe mujhse pyaar nhi ho gya n toh naam badal dena.
Teja- Hn "Chironji Laal" rakh dungi.
Karan- Dekhenge.

The present day.

Karan in his mind- I never knew ki uss waqt jo maine bola tha vo sach hoga. Yeah I wished for this day. Probably it's the best birthday till date. No wonder ise itni jealousy hoti thi jab main Ananya se baat karta tha. Meri laddoo. But wait a second ye saari chizon ke baare mein overthink kyu kar rhi thi. Vo toh meri trait hai. Just like me she also didn't want to ruin our friendship. And yeah she is also confused whether it's just a crush or not. Teri toh life ban gyi Kundrra. Now I won't waste time. Jaldi se jaldi apni feelings bta dunga.

He was lost when he heard her phone ringing once again. It was Sakshi. She informed him that she was outside the hotel in her car. Karan took Teja till the car made her sit carefully.

Karan- Sakshi please take care of her.
Sakshi- Hn hn don't worry.
Karan- aur hn ek aur chiz usne jo confess kiya hai vo sirf tumhare aur mere bich rahega. Use nhi btana that she has said it all. I just wanna surprise her.
Sakshi- yeah sure Karan. And by the way Happy birthday. I hope this day was beautiful.
Karan- Thank you. Indeed it was the most beautiful day.
Sakshi- okay then I will take a leave. Bye take care.
Karan- Yup! Bye.

She left. The party was over. Karan went back home changed and was chilling when he received a mail.......
