11th October it was Karan's birthday.
Teja woke up took a shower came back to the room and exclaimed HAPPY BIRTHDAY KUNDRIII.

It wasn't him just a frame of his which she kept hidden from her mother since the past two years.
It's already been two years since he has left. They weren't in touch. To be very frank Teja didn't wanted to be in his life. As her feelings day by day was increasing. But then she just recalled the day when her hopes were all shattered.

FLASHBACK- Two years ago

It was a pleasant day they were randomly talking over the phone when suddenly something clicked in her mind!
Teja- Kundriii I see these quotes you have been posting since last 5-6 months. What's the scene?
Karan- What.....which quote.........oh it's just some random stuff.
Teja- Karan don't act smart. Yeah I am not your bestfriend but I know you well. There's nothing in this world you would do randomly.
Karan- areee sachiii.....
Teja- stop lying!
Karan- Okay baba you won okay. it wasn't random.
Teja- see I know then tell me to whom is it directed towards.
Karan- ummm.......... Towards my crush.
Teja- ooohhhhh....... And who happens to be that girl?

She was expecting her name. It was her, but Karan was scared he didn't want them to fall apart. Teja never gave him a signal or a little hint whether she liked him. So he was sceptical about it. Hence he decided to lie.

Karan- umm.....it is......
Teja- it is?
Karan- her name is.......
Teja- Kundriii stop being annoying and just say it.
Karan- it's Ananya.
Teja was taken aback. ANANYA! That's what he said. I thought we had something and I would confess it today. But clearly he likes someone else. She was lost in her thoughts when. Karan said.

Karan- Teju! You there?
Teja- Yup Kundriii!
Karan- Tell me how's my choice.
Teja- It's only a crush right?
Karan- Yeah it is but you never know.

He was clearly teasing her.

Teja- Kundriii don't you know she is already committed!
Karan- what! How! When!

He obviously didn't cared about it but this was news for him and Karan was a guy who was always up for some gossip.

Teja- Yup! You know Kunal?
Karan- Sharma? (He exclaimed)
Teja- Yup!
Karan- Shut up! Kuch bhi!
Teja- It's true. It was me who made it happen. You don't even know.
Karan- you did it? What do you mean.
Teja- I mean Kunal is a good friend of mine since past 5-6 years and he once insisted me to talk about him with Ananya. I did and then these guys clicked and were in a relationship.
Karan- Huh! Anyways I don't care.
Teja- What do you mean you have a crush right.

Karan realised he made a blunder and immediately exclaimed.

Karan- yeah I mean try karne mein kya jaa rha hai!
Teja- Kundriii don't!!  you'll end up hurting yourself.
Karan- If it's like that. I will be more than happy to hurt myself.

Teja was upset. At the first place she expected her name and even after knowing that Ananya was committed Karan wasn't ready to give up. But little did she knew that it was her whom he wanted with all his heart just was a little scared of loosing her.

The present day

Aai- Teju! Come down breakfast ready hai.

Teja came out of her dreamy world.

Teja- Hn aai! Coming!

She rushed down wished her parents good morning had the breakfast and left for the college.
She dialled a number which read Varun.

Varun was Karan's best friend.

Teja- Varun! Good morning! U are coming right?
Varun- Good morning Teja! I just left for the place I will be there in like 15 mins.
Teja- Thik hai I am also reaching. See you.

They were heading to an old age home. This place was very close to Karan when he was in the city. He always used to celebrate his birthdays with them. While he was away Teja and Varun would spend time and get them gifts on his behalf. The wishes on the other hand would always be directed towards him.

She reached the place while Varun was waiting for her. They went in and was shocked to see that someone was standing there giving them gifts, smiling, singing and dancing with them. As soon as this person turned Teja's eyes shined bright. It shined as bright as the sun was, it twinkled like the stars. Without her knowledge a drop escaped her eyes and landed on her wrist. She didn't knew what was happening to her. She never thought they will meet again atleast that's what they said to each other that day.
