Previously on Chapter 2
"He's a jerk, just ignore him." Vicky said.
"Yeah and if he doesn't want you then he's crazy! Besides he is an idiot for not picking you to be his girlfriend." Dakota said while rubbing my back.
"Thanks guys, but it's not his fault. Katherine is way prettier than me and she's a cheerleader so I can see how he's practically drooling over her." I said.
"Nicole that's nonsense. You're amazing, gorgeous, and talented. You're a dancer so your way better than some dumb cheerleader. ANY guy would be so lucky to go out with you rather than a cheerleader, believer me. Besides you also have a brain so your good to go." Vicky said winking at the end and we all cracked up.
"Thanks Vicky and you too Dakota. You guys sure know how to make someone feel better." I said.

"No problem and thanks." Vicky replied.
"Yeah thanks. So anyway why don't we all watch something on Netflix?" Dakota suggested.
"Sure. How 'bout Pretty Little Liars?" I ask (ultimate white girl show lol js)
"Sure." Dakota says. "Vicky where's your laptop?" Dakota asks looking around Vicky's room trying to find her laptop.
"Under the bed." Vicky replies like it's obvious.
"Right. I knew that." Dakota says.
"Sure." Vicky sarcastically remarks.
Throughout that whole night, we all watched Pretty Little Liars. At about 4:00 in the morning, we all went to sleep because we were exhausted from that Pretty Little Liars marathon.
Once we woke up, we found out it's 2:00 in the afternoon so we quickly got dressed, brushed our teeth and went to eat brunch.
"So what do you guys wanna do today?" Dakota asks.
"Idk. I guess we could chill at Starbucks then we could just go for a walk?" I suggest.
"Okay then let's go." Vicky says and grabs her car keys.
Once we got into Vicky's car, Dakota immediately turned on the radio. Once we heard the song "Wild Life" by Jack and Jack come on we blasted the volume to max. We sung along to the chorus and Dakota rapped all the versus.
"Starbucks! Finally!" Dakota shouted and we all laughed at her immaturity.
When we got in I immediately regretted coming. At one of the tables I saw him. And her. Luke and Katherine. With 3 other people. Calum, Ashton, and Michael. We all locked eyes and all the color drained from my face. I could tell Dakota and Vicky wanted to anxiously leave as well considering the fact that Calum and Ashton had moved on pretty quick. Calum had an arm around a brunette and Ashton had his arm around a dirty blonde haired girl.
"Hey Luke isn't that the girl that said she liked you or even loved you?" Michael asked pointing to me and I could feel all eyes on me.
Luke just looked at me and I begged him with my eyes to not lie about anything but at the same time don't embarrass the crap out of me.
"I don't know what your talking about man I don't even know that girl." Luke laughed and soon the whole table started laughing along with him.
I felt my heart shatter in a million pieces and my eyes begin to sting. All of a sudden Vicky walked up to Luke and smacked him.
"Shut the fuck up Luke. Stop trying to act like your the coolest person in the world, because your not. The coolest people in the world are the people who are able to stand up and face their fears. The coolest people in the world are the people who can go up to a person with confidence and admit their true feelings. All you do is ask a girl out and fuck her the next day. You clearly do not have a brain or a heart Luke Hemmings." Vicky said and everyone looked surprised and shocked, including both Dakota and I. But no one was as shocked and surprised as Ashton. Instantly a look of regret crossed his face.
(Vicky and Ashton used to date but Ashton dumped Vicky because he thought she was boring and a nothing).
(Oh and Calum and Dakota used to date but Calum dumped Dakota because he thought she was cheating on him).
Vicky dragged me and Dakota back to her car in silence and sped back to her house. We didn't even bother to get any coffee.
Dakota and I didn't even say anything for the whole trip just because of the tension that was in the car.
In all the months that I have known Vicky this year, I have seen every emotion on her, including anger. But I have NEVER seen her this pissed.
Finally, I decided to break the silence.
"Thanks. You really didn't have to say that or do that but.. thanks. I appreciate it." I said and smiled to her in the mirror. She smiled back and replied,
"Your welcome. And I wanted to do something Nicole. I was getting tired of those jerks always acting like they own everyone and everything. I just could't stand the fact that my best friend just got embarrassed so I shut up that jack asses's mouth." Vicky replied and we all laughed.
"Thanks Vicky again. But I'm pretty sure you spoke for another reason to." I smirked and so did Dakota, getting the message I was hinting at.
"YOUR JELLY AT ASHTON!!" Both Dakota and I shouted at Vicky practically making her deaf and nearly making her crash.
"My God no I'm not! I'm not jealous at Ashton I don't even care about him anymore." Vicky replied blushing.
"Mhmm. Sure." I sarcastically remarked and smirked.
"OH MY GOD I AM NOT JEALOUS AT ASHTON IRWIN!" Vicky shouted making me and Dakota jump.
"Okay, okay. Your not jealous. We get it." Dakota said but we both knew that wasn't true.
