9. Part
Opening my eyes, I could see the sunlight shining through the tent. My eyes, in instant, landed upon Len, who was just sitting across from me on the other side, watching me.
With shivers down my back, I could still feel Jak's hands over me."You're alive..."
Eh?
"You've been out for longer than normal, I was thinking of how I'm gonna tell others..."I slowly sat up, and he walked closer to me.
"I don't know if you remember anything, but if you're dizzy, you should just stay here. The show won't happen for another week, and you can heal before then. He hit you pretty hard."What do I remember?
What I've remembered are Jak's hands on my thigh and then Len's holding a weapon I've used to try to kill Kaito against Jak's throat.
Uh.My head aching, I laid back down on the bed, and I heard footsteps outside.
And right after, quiet."Can we talk about what happened? I remember everything," I was trying to talk about how I tried to kill Kaito and he still saved me, even though I'm definitely making a big deal out of nothing.
But he could've just left.
I didn't feel like I deserved it."There's nothing to talk about." He looked away.
"Yeah, there's... I've almost killed Ka-"
That's when I could see a girl walking in, almost tripping because of her limb.
"Damn," I saw her say, as she was looking at the ground."Miku," Len called her name, and looked at her with surprise in his expression.
"We got a murderer here," Miku said, her voice again echoing.
"She didn't mean to," he looked awkwardly from Miku to me.
"It's not as if that's the first," she rolled her eyes and looked at me, trying to figure out whether or not I'm dangerous to her right now.
"Miku..." Len sighed.
"I won't tell Rin, but she should know. I assume Kaito was asleep when she did it, did you tell him and is he okay?"
"He doesn't.."
Huh? When he talked to him at night, why didn't he say anything?"Is he okay?"
"He's fine, Miku. You can go now," he tried to stop her from saying more. She looked at me, sighed, and she looked as if she was expecting Len to walk her away, as I've seen him do before.
He just stood there between us, me and Miku on opposite sides.
She turned and left on her own, before I could hear a girl's voice talking to her as she did.
"Hey, have you seen my brother? I've been looking for him everywhere," Rin said."Obviously not everywhere, he's right here," Miku said, walking away.
I see a blonde girl walk in to my tent, with a worried look on her face, as she came rushing to Len.
When she did, I wondered what's happening, and I looked at the two of them with fear in my eyes.
She only focused on him."They're leading Kaito away, and I heard one of them say they need to put him down," she said in hurry, grabbing his hand, leading him outside.
I walked after them, but stepping in the forest, I could so clearly see them already running away.I saw Miku standing far away just looking more into our part of the forest, before I wanted and tried to get back, but before I took first step in the tent, I could feel someone grab me and turning me round, I could see Jak.
"Wait, I'm not gonna hurt you," he looked at me with a desperate look in his eyes, as I was considering running away.
I could see he had a big bruise on his hand, several cuts and a black eye, with small scratches across his face.
I didn't care how he got it, he was going to hurt me.
