Hidden feelings -chapter five

In the morning when you woke up, you heard your phone going off . So obviously you looked to check what it was .

It was a message from Jake saying ," good morning Parker "

You didn't know it but a huge smile formed on your face as you read it . You wrote back ,"good morning with a smile emoji .

As you were about to get up your phone was going off again but it was just another message from Jake . It was just a smile emoji . Nothing much but it made you smile .

After you read it you Finally decided to get ready . You did the usual morning routine after that .

When you arrived at the precinct you sat on your desk to see peralta walking past with some paper work in his hands .

"Hey Parker ! Ready to solve this case " he said smiling .

"Sure am " you said while logging onto the computer without breaking eye contact .

You and Jake have been trying to find any trace of the man that the woman's family members have mentioned but couldn't find anything .

In the middle of the day your phone starting vibrating which was sitting on top of some paper work about the case . You picked it up to glance at what it was . It was Jake sending you messages again .

You read it and it said ," I think Boyle is having a bad day don't you think ?"

You looked towards him confused . He looked back at you and pointed at his phone . He sent you another message saying to look behind you .

Like the message said you looked behind you to see Boyle in the staff room dropping his muffin and hitting his head on the cabinet above him .

You couldn't help but laugh at what you just saw . You turned back to face Jake as you saw him giggling .

Rosa noticed you laughing .

"What are you two laughing about ?" Rosa said .

"Look over there " you said while looking towards boyles direction .

She looked towards boyle. Laughed for a good few seconds and continued to do stuff on her computer .

Just like Rosa you continued to work on your case .

After about an hour peralta came up to you .

"Did you find anything yet ?"

"Actually I did but it's not much"

"What is it ?"

"Well in 2002 he was arresting for suspicion of murder of a woman as he was helping his brother . Ted bundy."

"Wow interesting "

"Cannot find anything else "

"Can I work at your desk with you ? It would be easier since my desk is on the other side of the room " He said giving you a smile .

"Sure" you said

You two worked hard and you didn't know it but everyone has a ready left the office .

Then you found it . On some news website it said that the man that killed megan (the woman that got murdered ) has been seen near the old polish restaurant .

You showed Jake . ," we should go there tomorrow undercover in case" you said

" let's go tomorrow but for now it's quite late . We should go home now "

"Yup" you agreed as you turned off computer and put the paperwork about the case inside the drawer .

After you two packed up you entered the lift .

It was awkward at first but Jake looked like he wanted to say something . He was hesitant but After a few seconds he started speaking .

"Hey so . You're beautiful and I .." he hesitated but carried on as he turned to look into your sparkling hazel eyes ," ever since I met you when you first came to New York , I felt a connection but it's a different kind of connection and I wanted to say that I like y-"

Before he could finish you pulled him in a kiss .he kissed you back . Things got heated as he lifted you while you kissed more intensely .

Then your heart skipped a beat as you saw the elevator door slowly open with captain holt standing there . You pulled away from Jake as fast as you could as holt walked in .

It was awkward especially when holt said ," seems like you had fun . Don't worry I won't tell anyone about your little fling" he said proudly while giggling .

You went to your motorcycle and drive home . You couldn't stop thinking about what had happened in the elevator . It was so magical .

It was dark by then so you went straight to sleep as you were exhausted after all the work you had done at the precinct about the case .
