"Aye, wassup boss?" Kai walked into the shop.

"What's wrong, son? You sound upset."

"I am. I still don't think Mila liked her flowers." He rubbed his hands down his face. "I might need to send her some again, but this time with different colors. Maybe its the colors she didn't like and not so much the flower."

"Again, man? If I was that girl I'd move to another state."

"What you mean?" Kai chuckled at the face his dear neighbor and friend made.

"This your third time trying to deliver to her this week."

"Well, she still ain't hit me up yet. I don't think you sent them to the right address the first time you went."

"I just get them and send them to the address y'all give me. Has it occurred to you that maybe she's the one who's given you the wrong address?"

"Why would she do that?" Kai asked with a scrunched face, confused as to why anyone would be that cruel as to do such a thing to someone. "She specifically told me not to be scared to use it."

"I don't know, but you did deliver to her last night so even if I did mess up the address the first time, she gave her address directly to you. You couldn't have gotten it wrong."

"So don't send her more flowers?"

"No, Kai. The girl isn't interested or she would've had better communication with you." Mr. Haney turned his chair back to face the computer screen. "Just wait it out and if she doesn't text you back then leave her alone. It's not worth it."

"Yes, sir."

"We're pretty slow right now, so I'm about to run to the pharmacy to pick up my medication real quick."

"You sure you don't want me to close up? I can bring you."

"Oh, don't worry about it Mitchell will bring me."

"Okay, be careful."

"Back atcha." He said back before leaving out of the shop.

Kai was now by himself and since Thursdays are their slowest days, he was left to sit there and think about everything Mr. Haney had thrown at him. He couldn't believe someone would actually do that, especially to him. He's a very polite person. Was it because she felt trapped? Like she was forced to give an answer to him on the spot?

Shaking his head, he pulled out his phone and quickly turned to the computer. He went to google and typed in the address Mila had given him. Soon enough, he had found himself looking at the house on Google Maps. After scanning the house for some time, he realized that what he was doing didn't make any sense. The pictures they use there are old and would be of no use to him.

"I'll be with you in one second!" Kai called out to the customer he heard just walk in, causing the wind chimes to play an orchestra of inharmonic sounds.

He didn't see who walked in due to the computer facing the opposite way of the door, which he had to remind Mr. Haney about moving later, and after closing out of the site he was on, he got up and made his way over to the customer.

"Good afternoon, how ya doin?"

"I'm fine, thank you."

"Anything I can help you with?"

"Yes. I'm actually here to see if you can tell me who's been leaving me flowers."

"Did the person sending them leave a card or anything to give us any clue of who it could be?"

"No, just beautiful flowers." The girl chuckled.

"Then what's the problem?" Kai furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. "You're not a flower girl or you just don't like secret admirers?"

"Oh no I love flowers, they just sent them twice in three days so I was getting a little worried thinking I was being stalked." She made a face. "They actually sent me my favorite flowers though, which kinda worries me even more if it makes any sense."

"Which are?"

"Peonies."

"A girl who likes peonies... I like it." Kai smiled. "I wish I could get this girl I'm trying to talk to, to realize they're special."

"Oh, most definitely. They're magical."

"So, how do you know the flowers came from this shop?"

"The wrapping paper has y'all logo and name on it." She held up the paper they used to wrap the flowers as she chucked. " I think this is the only good florist in town, so I was actually gonna come here anyway."

"Okay, let me check for you. What's your address?"

"2856 Trenton Rd."

"Hmm.. that sounds familiar."
