"I swear she's learning karate in there!" Stiles chuckled as he and Isaac talked. They were each complaining about the things their pregnancy did to them, but they also talked about how happy they were.
"I'm almost two months and I've only felt kicks so far, so I'm holding out hope that there aren't free Kung Fu lessons in there. "
"You've already got kicks! Lucky. I've never gotten a kick. Plenty of cartwheels, but no kicks."
"The first time it kicked I about had a heart attack thinking something bad happened. "
"Well I would've too if I felt something like that. I called Deaton the first time I felt her moving and he and Scott had to calm me down for over an hour. "
"That sounds- wait, did you say she? You already know the gender?"
"Yeah, Deaton says we can tell what gender it is at two months. We wanted it to be a surprise, but then Scott couldn't handle it and had Deaton tell him while they were downstairs......Sometimes werewolf hearing sucks. "
"So you accidentally overheard that you're having a daughter?"
"Yep."
"Dang, I want it to be a surprise too. I don't really know if I want a girl or a boy, but I do know that I have a name in mind for a girl."
"....Well? Are you gonna tell me?"
"I actually have a name for a boy too. If it's a boy I want to name him Morgan. If it's a girl, I want to name her after my mother. "
"Claudia is a beautiful name, Stiles."
Stiles sighed as he remembered how much he loved to say that name. The way it rolled off of his tongue always made it fun for him when he was little. Saying it again would be like a dream come true for him. Stiles always called her Mom, and unless this baby was a girl, he wouldn't say the name. He hadn't said her actual name since she died, and didn't plan on saying it again until it was honorably.
"It is, and I think she would love it. Do you guys have any name ideas?"
"Well, Scott wants to name her Tyla, but I want to name her Lucy. "
"Scott used to talk about how his favorite character from a book I convinced him to read had a really pretty name. Take a guess what the name was- that was sarcasm by the way- it was Tyla. What your reasoning for Lucy?"
"Well, you and I are the same in that one Stiles. It was my mom's name. I didn't know her all that well, but I know she was a good person and I want our daughter to honor that. "
"We are incredibly cheesy, aren't we?"
"Yeah. Yeah, we definitely are. "
"I'm really happy the pack responded so well to our pregnancies. "
"Well yeah, I mean, we're not the only ones."
"What do you mean?"
"Did no one tell you?"
"Tell me what?"
"Hayden is pregnant."
"What! I thought she and Liam were dating, and I didn't think Liam would be one to-"
"Oh no, Liam came out as Bi when he and Hayden broke up. "
"THEY BROKE UP?" Stiles was going smack his pack next time he saw them. He's gone for a month and no one tells him anything.
"Yeah. Liam and Theo are dating now and Hayden was dating this Brandon kid. He's some human at our school. Although I'm pretty sure he broke up with her when he found out she was pregnant. She'll have hers a few months after us. "
