A lone bone machete lay on the floor. It had been neglected for quite a while, but today was not another one of neglection because its owner had need of it once more. Rei's hand extended outward before her hand clutched around the hilt.
"Okay okay..." The overmind said pacing around the room.
So let's take stock of the situation. God is trying to kill me. He has sent a massive army to go attack me. They are coming right now. And if that wasn't bad all of my drones are not here and some are even lost.
Things are not looking good at all.
So first of all I need to get out of here before an entire ecosystem bum rushes me.
Unfortunately we are going to have to abandon the creep network but better that than me being dead.
But of course none of this would have happened if I had just kept some lings at home. Absolute Bronze League Mistake every good play knows you have to keep some units at home to stop harassment from the enemy. Though that was before I actually knew the opponent I was fighting.
Ughh... All I can do now is groan and complain about being outplayed.
I thought I was just gonna have to kick some wild animals around but instead I'm in a one versus one with God.
The Cove door finally opened and in marched a ling with one eye. Alright my ride is finally here the creep stalks are all gone so the stupid wild animals don't get to use them and the water purifier is gone. Everything is set now all that I need to do is get out of here.
I pulled the cord that connected me with the creep and watched it fall to the ground leaking blood. I quickly stepped down and closed the wound, so that if I ever come back then I could just reconnect with this creep.
With that done there was just one final thing. I grabbed the pair of glasses that had been neglected for some time. Enjoying the fact that I could use my eyes since I was four I had left them to collect dust for a while.
But that didn't mean I was going to abandon them. I actually like the way I look with glasses they make me look like an intelligent woman but unfortunately the glasses are prescription so they are completely unusable now. Still if I ever get glass or something I could replace the lenses or I could just wear them without the lenses too.
Climbing on the back of myself the me ride began to sprint into the forest.
I've lost my main base which is bad but as long as I am alive then I can still rebuild. If this was that game then I would have F10+Q but the thing is I am the Hatchery. If I live then I'm still in this game and I will not quit.
Passing through the brush I was going to try and relink with the main group of lings but getting to them might be hard. I know the direction they went but the distance is a different story not only that I got a little lost when the Spiders attacked too. So finding them could easily go wrong, but with a little bit of effort I should be able to regroup with the main and find the lost groups.
Looking at the direction that everyone had run off to I began the long run towards them.
For a while nothing happened and I was just marching through the forest, but as I was running through the forest I saw through the top of the canopy a small cliff that was poking out. A thought occurred to me as I looked at the cliff if I managed to get on top of it I might be able to try and find the same mountain and from there regrouping should be easier.
I made my way up the cliff until I reached the top of it and looked out over the edge, and got an over view of endless amount of trees. As I was looking around I spotted the mountain in question.
