They chased me! They're fucking chasing me!

I darted through alleys and buildings, but suddenly a big spider appeared in my face. Stopping in my tracks the spider lunged before I skewered the spider through its body.

It thrashed trying to get off so I obliged as my tail swung, tossing it off. It impacted a wall before sliding down too injured to fight back. I hopped away continuing to run around before more creatures were soon behind me.

A large furry creature with massive claws jumped on me grabbing me. It lifted me off my legs before tossing me through a building. The stones crumbled under my weight as the force knocked the air out of my lungs.

Dazed a bit I rose to my feet or well hooves. The creature pulled the wall apart before it stood in the hole it made. The creature stood tall on its two legs. It roared at me before stomping towards me clearly intent on finishing me off.

An arm slammed where I used to be. Stepping gracefully to its side I passed by it, my tail swinging up and slashing the heel of the bipedal being sending it crashing to the floor unable to pursue me. I leaped out from the hole in the building but unfortunately for me more creatures were outside and without hesitation they started attacking me. I dodged and weaved through their claws, arms, and blades like arms.

I'm not someone who knows how to fight the only self defense I ever kept on me was pepper spray. But the great thing about having hundreds of bodies that constantly fight is that you learn quick.

A creature leaped at me. It had weird frog-like legs and a pair of scythe arms that resembled a praying mantis. Sliding to a stop the creature landed in front of me, where I was running, it swung its scythe arms at me. Stepping back out of its range I swung downwards piercing the head of the creature.

With the thing skewered I sprinted forwards throwing it off my arm. Finally free from the evil cretins, that were still following me, I made sure to make it as hard as possible to follow me. I learned pretty quickly the ins and outs of the alleys and buildings, so I practically disappeared from view.

Rushing to make sure they didn't catch me I quickly ran into a familiar broken down building. The 'rubble' that covered the building forming into a small mound was deceptively light because in truth it was made of me and not rocks. Crawling through the rubble I searched for the familiar latch before I finally found it.

Grabbing the latch I pulled upwards lifting the fake rubble off the floor and then descended into the depth. As the hatch closed the rubble sprouted legs and rearranged itself. And in seconds it was as if nothing was ever there.

Descending into the darkness the drone started crawling through the tunnels. For a while there was nothing but darkness and silence but then soon the drone hit a dead end. Feeling around the dead end the drone felt around for something specific. As its hands moved around suddenly they stopped catching something out of the ordinary from the flat surface. Giving the thing a pull suddenly the dead end started to rumble.

The sound of rock scraping on rock was the only sound in the tunnel before the dead end started to shift away. A bright light peered through the fake dead end before the drone stepped into the light.

Pulling a lever on the other side the dead end started to reshift, locking away the secret area.

Behind the stone rolling door was a wide open area.

The drone strutted in as other drones ran to and fro. There were old tables that were almost broken with stacks of papers on them. The wood was hollow rotten and on the brink of shattering into dust.

Walking past the drone moved through an empty hallway before entering a small room where there was a single chair in the middle. Candles were lit all around, giving light in the room in font of the chair was a large desk made of stone. It had seen some damage but was in much better condition compared to its wooden compatriots. Sat in the chair with her back faced to the drone was the Overmind.
