Once everyone returned to the common room, the girls went up to their dorm to check on Elle. The boys sat on the couch. Peter and Sirius played the exploding snaps when an owl came and sat on Sirius' shoulder. He glanced over to see the note still on the owl. "Didn't you give it to her?" the owl hooted. Sirius wonders where Eleanor went then. The girls ran down to the common room all looking panicked and scared. "What's the matter, Mils?" Remus asked, concerned. "She isn't up there in the dorm, Remy, Jay. She is new here. We don't know where she might be." Mils sobbed. All the girls looked as if they would burst out crying any moment. "It's your entire fault Sirius. If you would have left her alone she would have been with us." Mary said quietly. "Oh Mary she must be in the girls bathroom crying her eyes out, you all don't need to fret about it." Peter said nonchalantly. "Oh yes and you seem happy that she is in danger, if you hadn't been a pervert and touched her she might have been civil with all of you and her year would have not started like this." Delia seethed. "Del calm down Hun! He just wanted to know Elle was fine on the train. Peter, behave yourself. " James said. "Whatcha waiting for Pads go fucking look for her." James said sternly.
With that, all of them went out looking for her. After hours of looking for her Remus remembered the marauders map and took it out and searched for Eleanor on the map. She was nowhere to be found. "James I can't find her on the map." Remus panicked. "Do you reckon she went to Hogsmeade? But none of us told her about the passageways did we?" James wondered.
Meanwhile Eleanor was passed out in the corridor.
Regulus who like always was on his way to the astronomy tower saw a unique door and went to look at it. As he approached the door he saw the door to be Pitch black. He opened the door and saw Eleanor passed out on the floor.
"Devon!" He rushed to her and tried to wake her up but she didn't wake up. He looked around and saw a pitch black corridor. "What the heck!" he scooped Elle up in his arm and sprinted towards the hospital wing in the opposite tower.
He brought her to madam Pomphrey and she started treating her. "What did you do to her boy?"
"I didn't, madam." Regulus said solemnly. "I found her passed out in the corridor near the astronomy tower."
"Very well my boy. A little bit more late and she might have suffered severely. Its past curfew you must head back to the dungeons and take this incase the prefects stops you on your way." She said, handing him a slip.
With one glance at Elle he left.
Remus was meanwhile still searching on the map when he saw Regulus moving fast towards the hospital wing a floor above them with Eleanor. "I guess I know where Elle is. Let's go!!" With that they all followed him to the hospital wing where they found Elle laying on the bed.
"Elle!!!" Cordelia said.
"Shush!! Why are you here girls and boys and its past curfew!??" Pomphrey said.
"Sorry madam but Eleanor here is our friend and when she didn't return to the dorm we and the boys came looking for her and then we thought to see if she is in here." Lily explained.
"She was brought in here 10 minutes before by a boy. He found her passed out in the 7th floor corridor. Do you people know why she was there?" the matron asked.
"She said she wanted to go off for a walk but we didn't know where. But then it struck us that she is new and might get lost so we came looking." Sirius said.
Everyone glared at him bar Peter who looked at him confused.
"Well she was really shaken up and had passed out of sheer panic and anxiety. I thought you all must know well of not leaving her alone after she is here for a very noble caus-". Matron was cut off by Del before any further secret was revealed.
"We will surely keep that in mind MADAM." She gave her the look and the matron realized what she just said.
"Right you all now get back to the dorms and come back tomorrow at lunch to take her with you now pip pip." She shooed them away and closed the door and went to her quarters for rest.
As everyone walked back to the Gryffindor tower. One thing was everyone's mind 'WHO WAS ELEANOR DEVON? AND WHY WAS SHE HERE?' While Delia was scared that secrets were revealed to soon than the time actually meant for them to unravel and it was time for Dumbledore to be visited.
