Groaning my eyes open. I look over to the clock on my nightstand. 5 am. Closing my eyes again. I waited to fall asleep... My eyes shot back open. Sighing with irritation I get up. I really didn't need sleep when being Moon. But in the book I wrote, I made it when Mae stays up as Moon, her Sun side is really tired. I didn't want to experience that.

I redid my bed and got ready for the day. I looked in the mirror and I put on another crop hoodie like the previous one I wore yesterday, but this one had a moon in the middle. I put my Santa hat hoodie over my head, Two holes that held out to my fox ears to fit through. I used my magic to make a dark blue hospital mask with glowing yellow stars. I put it on to hide the shadow of nothingness on the side of my face.

I walked out of my room and into the hall. The lights were off. I was still Moon. I walked to the elevator and made my way to the lobby. I walked through the lobby and made my way to the kitchen.

I grabbed a glass cup out of the cupboard and walked to the sink. I filled up the cup with water. I walked out of the kitchen and again started my way to the elevator.

Instead of going back to my room, I pressed the 20th gaming floor. The elevator door opened and I walked to the doors that were labelled library. You would think I would not know where everything was but I made the book so yeah. Opening the doors I walked to the shelf to find a book. Reading names, one came across my eye.

'The truth untold.'  I read to myself.

Walking over to a couch in front of the window I sat down, legs crossed. Opening the book I started to read.

"Well, fancy seeing you up this early." A voice boomed around the room.

I frantically looked around for the person the voice belonged to. This wasn't part of my book. I walked out on my own behalf but why is there someone here?

Walking was heard around the room. A hand was then put on my shoulder. It took all my strength not to scream. Looking over my shoulder, I see Alastor.

"Why are you up so early?" Alastor asked. I just looked at him. I couldn't talk, he would fall asleep in a minute.

"Why are you not talking dear." he removed his hand from my shoulder and sat down on the couch across from me. I again stayed silent. Alastor's smile grew wider.

"My dear, it's quite rude to not respond when someone is talking to you," Alastor growled when I didn't respond.

The deer demon got up off the couch and grabbed my neck pulling me off the couch. My arms tried to pull Alastor's arm off my neck.

"My dear, talk to me." Alastor held on to my neck grew tighter. Alastor dropped me, my hands took place where his hands were on my neck, as he walked over to the light switch.

Quickly running over there I stood in front of him, my arms out shaking my head no.

"My dear, move out of the way," Alastor growled. I again shook my head no.

Alastor tried to pull me out of the way but I quickly held my hand up in a stop motion waving it around. Alastor raised an eyebrow, his biggest smile getting even bigger.

"What is it, my dear?" Alastor's eyes glowed a deeper red shine.

An idea popped into my head. I snapped my fingers and a notebook and pen came into my hands. I then started to write.

'I can't talk.'   I held up the notebook for Alastor to see.

"And why is that, my dear?"

I took the notebook back and began to write again.

'It's part of being Moon. If you hear my voice, even a whisper or even a tiny squeak you will fall asleep in about a minute or more depending on how long you can fight it.'
