Lost

Chapter 1

"Are you almost done getting ready? It's the first day of junior high!" My best friend Jaysie said.

"Yeah I'm almost done." I said, trying to get my eyeliner perfect.

"Finally. Let's go." She said.

I smiled, grabbing my stuff and heading out to my mom's car.

"Are you girls excited?" My mom asked.

"A little." I said.

"What do you mean a little? We're gonna be meeting so much new people since we moved schools." Jaysie said.

"True, there's just gonna be some rude girls because of how we dress." I said.

Jaysie and I were all about the emo grunge style. I loved all metal music like Slipknot and all that.

"Their opinions don't matter. From what I learned from Instagram that they're basic white bitches." She said.

"You're right." I said, laughing.

We arrived at the school and it was bigger than the pictures. I was definitely gonna get lost.

"Let's go!" Jaysie said.

I got out of the car, waving goodbye to my mom and walking with Jaysie to the office.

"Welcome to the school Jaysie and Alyssa! I'm your principal Mrs. Allen. Please always come to my office if you ever need anything. This is a really good district for you." The principal said.

"Thank you." Jaysie said.

"I have Zachary here, get over here Zack!" She said.

Zachary came over to us, smiling. He looked really cute.

"He's gonna be taking you both on a tour." She said.

"Hi. I'm Zachary Bakers Zacky for short." He said.

"I'm Alyssa and this is Jaysie." I said.

Zacky nodded as he lead us to the main part of the school.

"We all have the same classes together by the way." Zacky said.

"Nice." Jaysie said.

"You guys can also hang with my group if you'd like. I have my best friends. Matt, Brian, Jimmy, and Johnny." He said.

"Cool thanks." I said.

"So these are all our classrooms down the hall. The cafeteria is upstairs, and the bathrooms are by the math classrooms." He said.

"Thanks for helping us I appreciate it." I said.

"Of course. We should probably get to class before we get detention." He said.

We walked over to class and there were a lot of people.

"Hi Jaysie and Alyssa! Welcome to my classroom. Alyssa you sit by Zachary over there and Jaysie you sit in front of Matt over there." The teacher said.

I nodded, going to my seat. I noticed some girl staring at me. Was it because I was sitting here? I didn't know, I didn't care either.

After class I was stopped by the girl, what the fuck did she do that for?

"Can I help you?" I asked.

"Look. Just because you sit by my boyfriend doesn't mean you get him. Stay away." She said.

"Girl you're literally 12 don't be so scared." I said, rolling my eyes as I caught up to Jaysie.

"What was that about?" Jaysie asked.

"Some girl telling me to back off Zack." I said.

"What a bitch. She don't got the good style like us anyway." She said.

I laughed. She really didn't. Zack and I had a lot in common of music taste, he told me he liked metal and rock.

"So Alyssa and Jaysie these are my friends. Matt, Brian, Jimmy, and Johnny." Zacky said.

We both said hi, sitting down.

"Bro you guys like that music too?" Jimmy asked.

"Yeah we love it." I said.

"Damn Zack where did you find these girls?" He asked.

"I had to give them a tour since they're new." Zack said.

"Well damn they're rad! Who's Alyssa and who's Jaysie?" Matt asked.

"I'm Alyssa, and that's Jaysie." I said, pointing to Jaysie who was falling into space until I nudged her.

"I hope we can all be good friends." Matt said.

I hoped too. Maybe if Zack's girlfriend wasn't such a bitch.
