It was the second day of school. I was really excited because we made friends with an awesome group and usually Jaysie and I had trouble with making friends because of how hyper we were, but this group was the right group.
"I'm so excited to see the guys today." I told Jaysie.
"Me too! I wonder if Zacky's girlfriend is gonna start hogging the table." Jaysie said.
"Probably." I said.
Mom dropped us off at the school and the guys were sitting at a table.
"Hey guys!" I said, walking over to the table.
"Hey Lyssa! Mind if I call you that?" Matt asked.
"Go ahead M." I said.
"Cool shit." He said.
Then Zacky's girlfriend sat at the table, acting like a total bitch, we could tell the guys couldn't stand her.
"What are these girls doing here?" She asked.
"Jayda I-" Zacky started but I cut him off.
"We're their new friends. I sense that you don't like that, if you don't, Jaysie and I could give 2 shits less." I said with a smile.
"Damn she got Jayda's ass." Jimmy said.
"Yeah right. Bubba wanna go get coffee?" Jayda asked Zacky.
"Uh no I'm good." Zacky said.
"Okay fine. I'll see you later." She said, leaving.
"Bubba?" Matt asked, laughing.
"That was awkward." Zacky said.
"I'm not afraid to speak what I think." I said.
"Good." Matt said.
"None of us like her." Jimmy said.
"I do." Zacky said.
"How?" Jaysie asked.
"She wasn't like this before." He said.
"And you think she's gonna change?" Matt asked.
"Maybe." He said.
"Dear lord. Lyssa get on his ass." Johnny said with a laugh.
I smiled. The guys gave us their numbers and we got through the school day, it was long and stupid since Jayda was being included into everything.
"God that was a weird day." I said.
"Yeah. Alyssa can I tell you something?" Jaysie asked.
"Yeah of course whats up?" I asked.
"I kinda like Matt." She said.
"That's so sweet." I said.
"Yeah but I gotta go, I'll text you." She said.
I smiled, hugging her as she walked to her house that was right next to mine. The main reason we became best friends.
I texted all the guys in a groupchat since I didn't want to text one at a time.
Me: Yo! It's Lyssa.
Matt: Lyssa what's up!
Jimmy: Yo!
Jaysie: Hi!
Matt: Where's short shit and bubba?
Zacky: Not funny.
Johnny: John's here.
Jimmy: But it is funny Zacky.
Zacky: Whatever.
Matt: Lyssa private chat me rn.
Me: Ok.
I texted Matt, what did he want?
Me: Yo. What's up?
Matt: First of all, I like Jaysie. Second of all, I think Zacky has something for you.
Me: How do you figure?
Matt: He looked hella sad when you left the table.
Me: How sweet, but he has a girlfriend.
Matt: We gotta get him to break up with her.
Me: Well Matt I'm only 13. I don't want a relationship rn LOL.
Matt: Fair nuff. See u tmr.
I put my phone down, turning on music as Zack called me.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Hey. What are you doing?" He asked.
"Just listening to music and drawing." I said.
"Fun. I got bored so I called you." He said.
"Sweet." I said.
"I guess so." He said.
"Yeah. Anyways I have to go." I said.
I hung up before he could say bye. I got to the bathroom and got ready for bed.
I laid in bed, thinking. Did Zacky like me like Matt said?
