Request for Alligatorboymccoy sorry for the wait

He didn't know when it started. Honestly it had been a while since he kept track. It was just part of the routine now.

Every friday evening Kentucky would come out and sit on the back porch, instrument in hand. He would wait about 5-10 minutes, just enjoying the peace, for Georgia to come and sit beside him.

A few more minutes, just enjoying the silence, and Kentucky would go "Well. Shall we?" And Georgia would nod and smile and hand Kentucky his guitar.

He would play.

Mostly anything that came to mind to start with, and Geo would sing, or nodd along to the ones he didn't know.

Sometimes he made up song in the go, and Georgia, in turn, would try and come up with lyrics on the spot.

And as the sun set on them they would play one more song, some big drawn out thing. Kentucky would put his guitar down, and Geo would talk about finally bringing an instrument of his own. He always forgot by the next week.

They'd get out drinks and Georgia would bring out his blanket (The big one) and drape it over them both and they would talk long into the night.

The sun had started to set. It was rather pretty, almost like one of those art pieces they'd put in a museum. Kentucky briefly recalled of overhearing another state talking about how each sunset was someone who had died making one final mark on the world. Or was it specifically an artist. Eh. He didn't feel the need to go ask them.

He put the guitar down, turning to Georgia to hear the usual remark and was suprised when he chose to stay silent, staring at the sky.

"Geo?"

"Yeah?"

"You good?"

He nods. Ok good, this wasn't anything concerning then.

"Tucky?"

"Yeah?"

"Can I kiss you?"

Kentucky paused, and then smiled.

"Go ahead."

Georgia leaked forward, pressing a quick kiss to his lips.

"..may I kiss you again?"

"You can kiss me anytime you want-" The words were out of his mouth before he knew it, but he found he didn't really mind that.

A/N: Sorry for it being so short, but this is as far as my brain was working with me-
