Northern Lights | Alaska x York

"C'monnnnn I promise it's worth it!"

Alaska was attempting to get his boyfriend to follow him outside to see the Northern lights

"It fucking better be It's cold as shit."

"I could warm you up?" Alaska stretched out his arms, offering a hug to New York, and smiling as the smaller state snuggled into him.

"Yay!"

Alaska leads him outside, pulling New York closer. He points up to the sky, New York's eyes following his guesture "Look!"

New York gasped. He was totally unprepared for the sight. It left him breathless.
Sure he had seen photos before, but nothing could compare to the real thing
Lines of colour danced across the sky.
Green, blue, pink, purple
He couldn't tear his gaze away.

"Wow.." he says softly, voice full of awe "they're beautiful"

"Yeah they sure are something.."

Alaska looks down at his boyfriend, smiling at his wonderstruck face.

"But they pale in comparison to you"

He watched as New York tried to suppress a grim, failing horribly.

New York reaches up, kissing him on the cheek "I love you, you sappy bastard"

"Love you too Yorkie"

They turn their faces back up to the sky, cuddling close and enjoying the lights.
