Aurora's wedding is getting closer!

Enjoy :)

*****

"If I cry, don't laugh at me." I said before Aurora disappeared into the dressing room. We were at a dress shop where Aurora was doing her final fitting for her wedding dress. I left that task up to her since she wanted to keep it a secret from me first as well as a surprise for her mom. She managed to get a hold of her mom's old veil and incorporated it into the dress without damaging the fabric.

I already had a dress of my own through an online shop and had it delivered to my house a few days ago. Thankfully, we didn't have to worry about the dresses being ruined by outerwear because I ordered a large tent in the backyard that would seal the venue, allowing us to place a few heaters around.

I waited inside the shop's sofa, laughing as Charles sent a text. He was with Leo to get some suits since he didn't expect to attend a wedding in Italy and the tailor was only at the other end of the street.

Leclerc: Leo's tailor is giving me a look

Bellerose: what look? stop being weird

Leclerc: it's like he wants to pounce me or something

Bellerose save me

Bellerose: you're on your own

I shut my phone when the dressing room curtains opened and Aurora walked out. Her dress was an off shoulder ball gown made out of chiffon, showing off her shoulders and collarbones. The dress hugged her waist before flowing out over the small petticoat underneath it. Her mother's veil was placed over her head and when she turned around, lace flowers were perfectly stitched at the bottom. She looked like a real life princess.

"You're crying." Aurora said but when I looked at her, I could see tears forming in her eyes as well.

"I don't care if you laugh anymore." I said, standing in front of her while she laughed at me. "Leo is going to bawl his eyes out when he sees you."

"If he doesn't, I'm going to divorce him." She said and we both laughed. I took out my phone to take her pictures and got a few mirror shots as well.

Aurora went back to the dressing room to change and give back the dress so that the shop owner can pack up the dress. We had to place it in my car first before heading to where the boys were. It's a miracle they're still not finished.

Fabrics piled the walls along with suits that were placed over mannequins as we entered the store. We found Charles and Leo by the mirrors where Charles was standing in front of the tailor, arms raised to his sides as the tailor fixed a few creases. He was wearing a black suit that made me do a double take while Aurora went over to Leo. The tailor left him for a while as Charles fiddled with the untied bowtie hanging around his neck.

He caught my eye through the mirror and showed me an awkward smile, making me remember his messages from earlier. He mouthed the words help me and I approached him, feeling Aurora's eyes on the back of my head.

"What would you do without me?" I asked as I stepped in front of him and began fixing the bowtie. Charles had to tilt his head up but still flashed me a smile as he watched me through the mirror.

"Most likely lost and falling into a dark place." He winked but I could feel my lips forming a frown.

"Why do I feel like you're not joking?" I moved my eyes to his bowtie because even though I knew how to make it, that doesn't mean I wouldn't make a mistake. These are more difficult than wearing a romper and having to go to the bathroom.
