THE CONNECTION .

CHAPTER XLII

The nigga took off the mask and it was Clay.

"I'm just fucking with you." He said , laughing.
"Nigga that's not funny!" I said , punching him in his arm.
"Damn you hit hard. Where Bleu at?" He said grabbing his arm.
"She's um- not here .. i'll bring her to see you tomorrow." I said , lying thru my teeth.
"You lying? Must got a nigga in there or something." He said as his smile drifted away.
"Clay you know i'm in a relationship." I said , biting my lip.
"Mhm .. bye Tae." He said as he stepped down off the one step and started walking away.
I ran after him and grabbed his arm.
"Why is you so mad?!" I asked.
"Nigga cause you letting this lil puppy love ass relationship , making you forget who been there for you. Who was there when Bleu went missing and put that on his life that he would find her?! ME! I DID THAT!" Clay snapped.
"You right .. you were there for me. And so was TJ , so was Dez and look where it's gotten me. Two out of the three people I just named , have hit me .. more than once! And then here comes Mylin .. willing to give me everything i've ever wanted in a relationship! So yes , excuse me if id rather forget all that past shit that hurt me!" I snapped back,

"So you wanna forget me now?" He asked , getting in my face.
"Clay stop .." I said as he put his lips near mine.
"Answer the question Taven." He said , putting his hand on my waist.
I shoved him.
He damnear flew onto the door of his car.
"Nigga I said stop! I just got my relationship back , i'm not fucking it up again." I said.
"I guess I got my answer .." He said , as he went to the other side and got in his car.
I went to the cars open window.
"Clay!" I said with my arms folded.
"WHAT?!" He asked.
"I love you .. but we can't do stuff like that anymore." I said. 
"Yea ok .. do not come crying to when this lil relationship ends." He said as he pulled off.

I went back in the house.
I went upstairs and laid back down.

"Who was that?" Mylin asked.
"Um .. the weed man. He came to tell me he was going on vacation with his kids." I lied.
"Oh alright .. I got a game tomorrow , you and Bleu coming?" He asked.
"Um .. I got school tomorrow. What time is the game?" I questioned.
"4:30 .. and um I got a surprise for you tomorrow." He said cheesing.
"A surprise ..? I wonder what it is." I said , cheesing too.
"Mhm now cmere." He said , pulling me on top of him.

The next morning .. 6:24 AM.

I woke up got dressed.
I put on a yellow hoodie , black jeans , and my white air forces.
I went downstairs and woke up Bleu.
I put her in the tub and got her dressed.

"You look so cute my love." I said as I grabbed my bookbag and her lunch box.
"TaeTae i'm tired." She said.
"I know baby , but you'll have nap time at school okay? Cmon so we don't get there late." I said as I picked her up and walked out the door.

I put her in the car and drove her to preschool.
I dropped her off and quickly drove to school.
I parked the car and walked in.
I was met at the door by Briell and some boy.

ARTIS AMAUD.

"Hey Bri." I said.
"Hii baby , Artis this Taven. Taven , this is my bestfriend Artis." Bri said.
"Hi Artis." I said.
"Heyy." He said.
"Um Tae did they send you your schedule?" Bri asked.
"Yea , here." I said as I showed her the schedule on my phone.
"Oh shit , all three of us got the exact same schedule." She said.
"So we lit." Artis said , laughing.

We all started walking to our first class , precalculus.
We stopped really quick to make a tiktok.
Me and Artis twerked on Bri.

"Artis , ya butt is mad fat like dayumm," I said , laughing.
"Yours is too , you know us skinny gays gotta stick together." He said , laughing.
"Neither one of y'all gotta fatter ass than me." Bri said as she started twerking on me.

Some fine ass boy walked out the bathroom and looked at Bri.

JAYME VALOUR.

"Wassup Bri." The boy said.
"Heyy Jay." Artis said.
"Wassup Artis , Bri can I talk to you?" Jay said.

Bri rolled her eyes and they both walked to the corner.

"What's that about?" I asked Artis.
"Jay is Bri's ex boyfriend. They were together durning their freshman year - their junior year. Then ... Jay had a baby on Bri and she's hasn't gotten over it yet." Artis said.
"Oh lord .. been there done that shit. It's the worst experience ever. I would cut his dick off if I were her." I said.
"She tried to , and got her ass arrested. I don't know .. they're so toxic , yet so in love. It's kinda like Deja Vu. Ya know?" Artis said.
"Yea .. I know that song and tune all too well." I mumbled.
"Somebody had a baby on you?" Artis asked.
"How bout the nigga not only had a baby on me , he had sex with me bestfriend , she got pregnant , and we thought it was his baby and come to find out it was my brothers." I said.

Artis' mouth dropped and we both started dying laughing.
Bri came back over to us.
She had a small smile on her face.

"Why you so giggly?" Artis asked her.
"He's taking me on a date later and ima need y'all opinions on outfit choices." She said.
"Lorddd , if y'all get back together you owe me 30 dollars." Artis said.
"Yea yea whatever, cmon before we be late to class." She said.

6 hours later ..

Me , Artis , and Bri all walked out of our last class and started walking outside.
Then I seen Clay.
And Clay seen me.
Then Bri walked over to him.

"Clay this is my friend Tae , Tae this is my big brother Clay." Bri said as she "introduced" us.
