bradley and i sat in our king sized bed at our new rental condo
"that's crazy" bradley exclaimed "i mean what are the odds kyle is here with us, do you think he came to stalk you?"
i rolled my eyes at him, he's being so dramatic " i mean he was one if the best, he's really good" i leaned my back against the bed frame
bradley laid his head on my chest and my hands went straight to his hair to play with it
"that's because you taught him" bradley mumbled
i nodded with a smirk "hell yeah"
after a couple of minutes of the tv softly playing in the room, bracket stood up and gave me a kiss
"i'm gonna go get dinner, what do you want?" he asked me, his knees leaning against the bed for support
"i'm not hungry" he frowned "thank you though" i said with a smile
he leaned down again to give me another kiss "be back in a second, love you"
"love you!"

"attention on deck!" we all stood up as the new captain walked in front of the room "im captain lewis, callsign: buck, be seated"
the table i was sitting at on sat me, behind me was bradley and in front of me was payback and wildcat
"this mission is the very same as you last one" he said, pointed at the screen that showed the same 'box' as the one from the last time we were here "the pentagon found another one of the last one, this. it's a complete duplicate, just on the other side of the world"
"is anything different sir?" i asked out loud and he nodded
"the path is different and difficult" he said firmly " you will struggle"

"shit" i cussed, preventing my eyes to close shut so i don't go until g lock
there's so many, too many mountains to do this. the whole time we're doing this mission we're going to be fighting the urge to stop g lock
i took a deep breath, slowing my speed, the doing a 369 turn, quickly accelerating my speed while heading up wards

i let my eyes shut to rest for a second

suddenly i couldn't open my eyes, i couldn't hear anything
"shit, she's in g lock!"
"cmon ace, wake up"
"ace!"
my eyes opened up seeing the bottom of a mountain, i gasped and pulled up the joystick making me fly above the mountain
"you okay ace?" phoenix asked me while i flew by her
i gave her a thumbs and let out a shakey laugh "never been better"
"let's head back, ace when we get back, you need to go home and rest" captain buck said to me
once i landed and went back inside the building to pack my stuff to go, bradley ran to me with a worried look on his face
"are you okay?" he pulled me into his arms, hugging me tightly
"yeah why?" i asked him and he pulled away from me, his hands on my shoulders, gripping them
" you almost died" he said like i was crazy "are you even aware of that?"
"yeah i am but i didnt die, so i can't complain" i simply told him, shrugging his hands off my shoulders and continued walking
"you know i wish i could be as laid back as you are babe" i looked back at him with a smirk
man did he look hot in his uniform
"maybe i can teach you sometime" i winked at him "i'll see you at home"
