"what was that?" bradley asks me as he had one hand on the wheel and the other one was still attached to my hand
"what was what?" i acting like i didn't know what he was talking about
he laughed and shook his head "you totally just flirted with him"
"i didn't flirt with him" i stated "he flirted with me"
"same thing" he looked at me for a split second
"no i don't think so" i say "did you think i did go? like could i be a captain or an instructor?"
"yeah you had a lot of technique like maverick so yeah i'd say you would be a great captain or instructor" he told me
i leaned over the console and kissed him on the cheek "did i ever tell you that your mustache is super hot?"
he let out a laugh "told me once, you should definitely tell me more often though"
"yeah i definitely should" i agreed with him

"so your teaching a class?" phoenix asked me as we walked into the building that was on base
"yeah, ish" i say and we went into the room where all of the students were "thank you for coming"
we smiled at each other and walked in the front of the room
"good morning, you can sit" i tell them and they followed "this is phoenix, we flew together in top gun. and yes it's another girl" i eyes wildcat and he just laughed
was wildcat cute, yes but i have a boyfriend. one that i love a lot

i sat beside phoenix and wildcat was in front of us. we were out getting dinner at some local bar
"so how'd you get ace?" he asked me, leaning back into the chair
i looked at phoenix with a smirk
"don't get jealous" i tell him and he only shrugged out a laugh "this first ever mission i went on i got 5 kills, so i was an ace"
"yeah but an ace is one-"
"everyone else got less than 3 kills, so i was number one" i said simply, taking a sip of my sweet tea
"that's not bad" he exclaimed "aren't callsigns supposed to be bad?"
"well mine wasn't" i threw a chip at him "how'd you get yours then?"
"i'm a wild man" he started with a big smirk "and my last name is some kind of cat, so you put those together you get wildcat"
phoenix and i busted out laughing but he didn't change his face one bit
"that's really how you got it?" asked phoenix and he nodded, causing our laughter to slowly died down
"i mean that not a bad way to get it" i looked at phoenix and gave her a look

"hey babe" i said into the phone and i heard him sigh in relief
"my god, you had me worried. you weren't answering my texts" he continued "where are you?"
i looked at phoenix and wildcat "i'm at dinner with phoenix" i saw wildcats face turn
"alright, i'll see you later tonight right?" he asks me
i nodded even tho he can't see me "yep of course love you"
"love you" i heard him say before i hung up on him
i grabbed my stuff and stood up "i should probably go" i tell them and left before that could even say anything
i think bradley would be upset if he knew i was out with wildcat, only because he thought we were flirting the other day
