The next morning, Mike, Stephanie and the three boys were in the basement talking about their plan to go out and find Will again. El was messing with Mike's supercomm. "We just tell our parents we have AV club after school and Steph will pick us up afterwards. That'll give us at least a few hours for Operation Mirkwood." Mike said. "You seriously think the weirdo knows where Will is?" Lucas asked. "Just trust me on this, okay?" Mike insisted. "Okay." Lucas said. "Did you get the supplies?" Mike asked Lucas and Lucas said, "Yeah." Then he grabbed the bag that was under the table they were huddled around. Stephanie looked at El only to see her still messing with Mike's supercomm. "Steph?" Eleven's little voice spoke up. Stephanie looked at her. "Are you going too?" El asked. "Yeah, I am. I have to watch out for those boys." Stephanie said with a smile. "I'll just tell my mom I'm going to Robins to study." Stephanie continued. "Robin?" El asked confused. "My friend we have known each other for 7 years." Stephanie said. El nodded but she was still confused. "She shut one door." Lucas raised his voice arguing with Dustin. This got El's and Stephanie's attention. "With her mind! Are you kidding me? That's insane! Imagine all the other cool stuff she could do. Like... I bet... that she could make this fly! "Dustin exclaims as he gets a toy from the chair and puts it in front of El. "Hey. Hey. Okay, concentrate. Okay?" Dustin said to El as he proceeded to drop the toy on the floor expecting her to make it fly with her powers. Stephanie looked at him and sighed. El is not a toy! Stephanie thought to herself. Dustin true again. "Use your powers, okay?" Dustin asked and dropped the toy but it did the same thing again, just fell. "She's not a dog!" Mike exclaims. Stephanie nodded in agreement thinking something similar. "Boys, Stephanie! Time for school!" Karen's voice from upstairs shouted. Stephanie stood up. "I'll buy you some time before mom comes down. Have a good day boys, see you later El." Stephanie said and she left the basement. "Hey mom, the boys have AV tonight, I'll pick them up but while they are there I could go to Robin's or Eddie's. Maybe study with one of them." Karen sighed in hesitation. "Midterms are coming up and I need to study." Stephanie ushered. Karen nodded, "Sure just be back as early as you can." Three of the the four boys walked out of the basement. "Micheal!" Karen shouted. "Coming!" Mike yelled back. Stephanie laughed a little. She grabbed her bag that was on the couch and headed out side with Nancy like always.

Right as they got to school, Stephanie found Robin sitting on the ground in front of her locker. "Robin! I need you to cover for me tonight, I'm going out to find Will again." Stephanie said as she sat next to her in the ground. "I can't, family dinner, mandatory." Stephanie looked forward. "Its okay. There is someone else I can ask." Stephanie said. "Eddie!" Robin teased and bumped her shoulder to Stephanie's. "Stop." Stephanie said while she laughed. The bell rang and the two girls got up and headed to class.

During lunch, Stephanie sat with Robin. They were eating when Robin asked, "Did you asked Eddie yet?" Stephanie shook her head. "Oh, well here is your chance to ask, he is looking at you." Robin said. "I'll ask him in a little bit." Stephanie said while she continued to eat. "Yeah, no. Eddie!" Robin yelled as she got up. Stephanie jumped and asked, "What are you doing, you idiot?" Stephanie asked. "Nothing anymore, he is heading over here." Robin said as she sat back down. Robin smiled at Stephanie. "What's up?" Eddie asked as he stood next to Stephanie one hand on the back of her chair and the other on the table so he was slightly leaning over. "You know the boy that went missing? He is my little brothers best friend and I need to help look for him but my family is on lockdown so I can't go out unless my mom thinks Im with a friend at their house, safe. Robin can't cover for me so do you think you could tonight?" Stephanie asked looking in his eyes with all seriousness. Eddie listened to every details and nodded. "Yeah, I can cover for you." Eddie said nodding. Stephanie smiled and said, "Thank you." The two broke eye contact when they heard Carol and Tommy hitting the table and moaning, making fun of Nancy. "Gross." Stephanie furrowed her eyebrows together in disgust. Eddie patted her shoulder and left back to his table. "Was that so bad?" Robin asked. Stephanie flipped her off and Robin blew her a kiss, Stephanie laughed and shook her head. Turning her head to the entrance of the cafeteria she saw Johnathan. Stephanie stopped laughing after she saw his face.

Lunch was soon over, everyone got up to leave the cafeteria. Stephanie had a free period so she decided to got to the red room to develop her photos. Jonathan walked into the room and started to develop his photos. Stephanie saw them. "Why are there photos of Nancy?" She furrowed her eyebrows as she saw them. "Uh..I was looking for Will." Jonathan said not looking at her. "Oh..." Stephanie took her photos down as she saw Robin and Eddie in the first 3 pictures and the boys in the others. "You have a photo of Will?" Jonathan asked. "Yeah, I took it a week before the incident." Stephanie explained. She decided to put all her photos in her bag and headed to the door to leave. "Bye, Jonathan, see you later!" Stephanie waved and Jonathan did back. Stephanie went to open the door but someone else did. "Sorry." Stephanie said while the redhead just smiled.

The day went on and it was finally time to go home. Nancy decided to go to the game with Steve and his minions. She walked outside with Robin and saw whore 1, whore 2, the redhead and Steve taking Jonathan's bag. "Stay here." Stephanie told Robin as he walked up to the group with Nancy who was right behind her. "What's going on?" Nancy asked as the twins reached the teens. "There's the staring lady." Jackass said. "What?" Nancy muttered. "This creep was spying on us last night. He was probably gonna save this one for later." The bitch said handing Nancy the picture. "Watch it, bitch!" Stephanie warned. "Or what?" Carol asked. "Keep talking and find out?" Stephanie said she she took a step forward to Carol. Before Carol could say anything Steve says. "See, you can tell that he knows what he did was wrong, but... Man, that's the thing with perverts... it's hardwired into them. You know, they just can't help themselves." Then he tore the photos. Stephanie looked a Jonathan. "So... We'll just have to take away his toy." Steve says while walking towards Jonathan's bag. "Steve not the camera." Stephanie pleaded. Stephanie looked at Nancy wondering if she was going to do anything as Jonathan was held back by Tommy pleading to Steve to not break his camera but Steve eventually dropped it pretending to give it back to him. Stephanie bends down immediately to pick up the pieces as the assholes leave. Jonathan and Nancy bend down to pick up the tore up photos. "Nancy?" Steve calls out. Nancy leaves. Stephanie continued to pick up photos as Robin came over. "Well, that was bullshit." Robin muttered out picking up some photos.

When Stephanie got home she walked to the garage to grab her bike. Just like the plan said she walked behind her house and  saw El waiting behind her house staring at a cat. "El." Stephanie called out only to be hugged by El hugging her. Stephanie wrapped her arms around the girl in comfort since she was upset. Mike and the boys showed up. "El, you okay?" Mike noticed his sister hugging the girl. El nodded after she let go of Stephanie. "Hope on. We only have a few hours." Mike said and El got on the back of his bike. Stephanie got on hers.

Stephanie Mike and El were walking together when Stephanie graded his face. "What is that on your chin? Troy do this?" Stephanie asked only to receive a nod from Mike. "But it's okay Logan got him." Mike said to his sister. "Micheal. How many times do I have to tell you to punch him in the dick, if he keeps picking on you." Mike laughed. Stephanie ruffled his hair in response to his laugh. Stephanie looked back at the other boys behind them and waited for them.

Soon the trail started to look very familiar. Will's house. "Here." El started. "Yeah this is where Will lives." Mike said. Stephanie walked forward trying to look in the tall grass ignoring all of lucas's remarks to Mike, until she heard sirens. She turned her head to Dustin already looking trying to get his friends attention. "Will." Mike gasped out. Everyone scrambled to their bikes and head in the same direction as the sirens. They got off their bikes to hide behind a firetruck. Watching a body being pulled out of the water. Will, it was Will. Stephanie covered her mouth as a whimper came out, tears rolling down her face. She turned away and could not watch the scene anymore. She continued to cry. Dustin wrapped his arms around her, hugging her, also crying. Mike got on his bike and rode off angry. "Mike....Mike." Stephanie called out but he was gone.

Stephanie walked down the road with Dustin, Lucas, and El. Dropping each of the kids off one by one before making it home with El. El went around to the basement while Stephanie went in through the front wiping tear of her cheeks. Avoiding any confrontation with her mom she tried to go upstairs to her room but failed as her mom was in the living room with her dad. "Stephanie, we heard what happened. Baby, I'm so sorry." Karen wrapped her arms around her as Stephanie's shoulder shook with her tears. Karen hand went to her head to rub her head in comfort.
