Chapter Two

Third-person pov:

Carlos woke up early in the morning after a phone call and he groaned in annoyance. He picked up the call from the nightstand and said groggily: "What Ezra?"

He said blankly: "Woke up sleepy head, I'm not sure but I find out some information and I'm 90 per cent sure that she can be your daughter but about 10 per cent we can run a DNA test"

His eyes shot open when he said and he said sitting straight running a hand through his messy morning hair: "what's her name?"

Ezra said with a small smile: "Ivie Antonia"

A small smile came to Carlos's lips after hearing her name. Her middle name is related to Antonio but who named her that related to Antonio. He said blankly: "what did you find out about her?"

Ezra said: "Ivie lives at **** orphanage, she gets to that orphanage a week later Our princess gets kidnapped. They had no information about her family. She just went to two foster houses but according to her reports, she never had a good experience there, not sure what. The caretaker doesn't care about her and she was mean as I get to know about her from some neighbourhood. You can meet her today she will be at the orphanage as it's Sunday"

Carlos said through gritted teeth: "okay. Meet me outside the Orphanage in an hour"

Ezra said simply: "okay"

He hanged up the call and Carlos said through gritted teeth: "just let me get you back princess then I will kill all of them who hurt you anyway"

He hopped off the bed and went to the washroom and take a good shower. He wears a black shirt and pants then picked his coat and fixed his hair while walking downstairs. He said blankly to Antonio who is in the kitchen: "I'm leaving"

Antonio said blankly typing on his laptop: "take care"

Carlos throw his coat inside the car and saw Charlie. He said blankly: "Did you take your bath?"

Charlie barked in yes and Carlos said blankly: "Go Antonio will feed you"

Charlie barked happily and rushed inside the house. Carlos shake his head at him and sat inside. He buckle himself and sped off to the road with four black big SUV cars following him. He is driving towards the orphanage with so many thoughts inside his head and only one thing in his heart: "will she accept him as her father? Will she call him Dad or maybe papa?"

After driving for 45 minutes, he reached the orphanage and stopped the car in front of the orphanage. He hopped off the car and saw Ezra standing while leaning against his blue car. He said blankly: "let's go"

Ezra nodded and throws the cigarette that he is smoking a second before and stepped on it.  Carlos said blankly: "you had smoking problems then why?"

Ezra said blankly: "you know that"

Carlos said blankly: "you can't change the past"

Ezra sighed and said trying to cheer up his mood: "c'mon let's meet my niece"

Carlos rolled his eyes at the excitement and he suddenly start feeling nervous looking at the orphanage. He never felt that nervous in his whole life, he never felt that nervous when he went to meet Allie for the first time before marriage. He was nervous to see his daughter, his little angel.

He takes a shaky breath and Ezra put a hand on his shoulder Carlos nod at him telling him that he is fine. Carlos and Ezra walk inside the orphanage and Carlos's eyes start searching for that specific green-eyed girl. Ezra saw a little kid around 5 or 6 and said with a small smile: "hi kid, can you call the caretaker of the place?"
