Chapter Twelve

Third-person pov:

Ivie is staring at Angel with a bright smile and her heart starts beating faster. She is staring at his grey eyes which are like rainy clouds so dark yet beautiful. He is wearing black ripped jeans then and a light brown t-shirt with a black hoodie on it. He become so taller than she last saw him.

Angel's dark eyes are looking at her soft features, her soft plump pink lips, her light green eyes shining with happiness and innocence. Her cute little nose with little freckles on her nose and cheeks make her look cuter.

His eyes met her bright ones and his world seemed to stop. He loved her from the day he met her at the orphanage. He can't forget that day.

Flashback:

Angel went to the orphanage with his father for the donation like his father does every time. He is sitting on the small bench in the small garden when he saw a beautiful girl crying on the floor whole some mean girls are laughing at her.

He felt anger rise inside him as his father always taught him to help innocent but kill people who hurt innocent people. He get up and walked towards them and said glaring at them: "leave her"

They look at him and run away looking at his angry expression. He said smiling down at her: "come"

She wiped her eyes and hold his hand and get up them said pouting: "thanks"

He said smiling: "my name is Luciano"

She said smiling back: "I'm Ivie Antonia"

He said smiling: "Oh I have a chocolate"

She smiled and he gave her the chocolate but she said frowning: "but it's your chocolate"

He said smiling at her: "My dad will get me more"

She gets it from his hand. He said smiling at her eating the Chocolate: "you're so beautiful ivie"

She blushed and mumble: 'thank you, you're also handsome"

He smiled when his father came out and said smiling at Ivie: "Oh who is this beautiful girl?"

Angel said simply: "Dad"

She said blushing: "I'm Ivie Mister"

He said smiling patting her head gently: "Call me Cameron sweetheart?"

She said smiling at them: "you're so nice"

Angel said smiling at her: "friends"

Shs said shaking their hand with him: "friends"

He said smiling at her: "I will come to meet you at weekends"

She said mining widely waving bye to them walking away at the door: "bye, Luci I will wait for you to come back"

Flashback ended:

Angel said in his cold but gentle voice: "Ivie"

She said smiling at him: "Luci"

Angel rolled his eyes and he asked: "How are you?"

She said smiling at him: "I'm fine. How are you doing?"

She said pouting at him: "you didn't recognise me that day at the store"

Asher said looking at her and making her turn towards him: "Do you know each other?"

Angel didn't like it that she turn away from him. He clenched his jaw and fists in his lap and she said smiling at Asher: "yes she is my best friend"

Asher looked back at Angel who is staring at him coldly with no emotions on his face. Asher gulped at his hard expressions and turn away from him and nod at Ivie who turn back to Luciano. Luciano's expressions softened when she asked: "how is uncle Cameron?"
