Sooo, I decided to give this a try and share the beginning of my new story with you guys but I'm not sure if this is such a good idea. This one really doesn't feel like it makes a good Larry fanfiction because the main focus isn't a ship.
But anyway, tell me what you think.
You know the drill by now: The boys take over my original characters and will be different from reality. I was close to only changing Harry and Louis and no one else and I might edit that later on, if it doesn't feel right.
For now, I'll leave it like that. Tell me what you think :)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A huge white and beige coloured mansion appeared in his field of vision but he didn't look up at it. Numbly, he followed the woman in front of him, successfully blocking out her voice. He knew he should be listening to her explaining everything to him but he had no energy left to fix up his hearing ability. All he could hear was his own uneven heartbeat and his heavy breathing. There was no room left for new sounds.
Entering through the massive front door, he was led up some flight of stairs until they had reached the second floor. Every step hurt like hell but he tried to cover it up and act like he wasn't in pain. Obviously, she had noticed the bruises on his face the moment he had shown up on her property but she didn't need to know the whole story. It wasn't worth mentioning.
"Louis, right? This will be your room from now on. Here's your key for the start. We will talk about the rest tomorrow. For now, settle in and rest. If you need me I'm right around the corner, only one call away" the woman showed him his room, putting the key down on a small desk close to the open door. Her name was Maria, if Louis recalled that correctly.
Unable to form words, Louis flashed her a tight-lipped smile and she seemed to understand that this was as much as he was capable of at the moment. Offering him a real smile, she left the room and closed the door behind herself. Absolutely overwhelmed, Louis stepped closer to the big window and glanced outside. Some single people were walking or launching around in the big backyard while others were sitting on benches in the untypical sun.
His gaze momentarily stopped on two boys on a bench. A red-head and a curly brunette. The red-head was obviously laughing at something while simultaneously trying to stuff food into his ridiculously wide mouth. The curly-headed one wasn't even fazed and kept reading his book completely unbothered. Maybe his staring was embarrassingly obvious or maybe it was a horrible coincidence but suddenly the curly-headed one looked up, directly into Louis' direction. There was no way he could actually see him.
"But what if he can?" Louis murmured to himself when the boy wouldn't stop staring into his direction. It was impossible. The boy was down there in the garden and the sun was blinding him while Louis was up here on the second floor in a huge mansion behind a big window, watching them like a creep. He can't see him.
"Get a grip, Louis" he hissed at himself.
Shaking his head at his ridiculous actions, he stepped away from the window and pulled the curtains closed. He wasn't in the mood to socialize with anyone today. He only wanted to forget this day, pretend it never happened and wake up in the morning to realise it has all just been a cruel dream.
That's why he decided to sleep this day away. He locked his door before opening one of his suitcases to search for his sleeping gear. Getting annoyed because he couldn't seem to find anything in this mess, he just grabbed the first pair of black sweats he could find and a random graphic t-shirt. He got changed and slipped into bed after brushing his teeth. To his luck, the attached bathroom was full of toothbrushes and toothpaste.
