8. The Album

"Arrey Siva, tu Kabse mujhse puchke kamre mein aane laga?" Suman enquired Shiva, "Nhi maa, woh ... mujhe...mera matlab , tujhse kuch" Suman nodded , "Woh maa, tujhse puchna tha kuch." Shiva was looking down while asking. "Pehe tu idhar aa beith mere paas" She patted the space beside her bed . Shiva sat near her . "Ab aisa kya puchna ai tujhe, jise kehne mein tu apni maa se jhijhak raha hai?"

"Maa woh........"

"Maa woh.... Raavi ke...Woh" "Haa beta , Raavi kya??" Suman became a little bit tensed as what thing regarding Raavi was making him so hesitant to even talk about.

"Maa , woh Raavi ke Maa - Papa Yaani... ki Ravish kaka aur Prakriti kaki ki Maut ... Ka..Kaise hui thi?" Shiva asked the question finally mustering all the courage he had ; eyes closed shut, head low ; coz never in the entire Somnath anyone talked about this, Not even His Maami or mom themselves. It was a pact to never tell Raavi about the past happenings as she was too small the day the unfortunate events took place. He even didn't want but after hearing Raavi terribly longing for her parents and the worst call herself the reason of their untimely unfortunate death and on top of that when he heard his 'TOXICITY KI DUKAAN' Maami telling her about that, breaking the age old pact, even he decided to go to the root cause now!

Suman was shocked, or confused not actually she even can't formulate herself the current reaction she was giving. Thousand questions evoking in her head, Why? why all of a sudden out of the blue moon her son was asking about the cause of death of his wife's parents?? She sighed , took a deap breath and then asked "Kyun?? yeh baat aise achaanak??

Shiva knew if he asked this directly also he won't be getting a direct answer, well he needed to prepare himself for follow ups.. "Maa , woh ,,," He fumbled again and Suman was actually irritated . Why Her Chattan jaisa bulldozer shareer ka beta always fumbles while asking something serious like that? Actually she realised he was not before like this but when a certain girl named 'Raavi' entered in his life as his wife and of course as his love, he became a bit sensitive for her .

Well becoming a petticoat chaap in this sense is good.

"Kuch hua hai kya Siva, jo mujhe pata hona chahiye?? Tu toh jaanta hi hai na . Ravish Bhai aur Prakriti ka accident hua tha" Shiva nodded positively. "Toh aur kya janna hai tujhe?" "Woh accident hua tha sab jaante hai, Pan" Shiva held Suman's hands & Suman could feel his palm sweating. She kept her other hand on his hands and said "Pan, kya beta?"

"Pan accident ki wajah kya thi, Matlab accident hua kaise tha??" Suman took her hand off and corrected her pallu, Shiva too looked into her eyes , his eyes asking for answers of that day.

Suman sighed and asked Shiva "Woh udhar Almirah ke upar dekh" Shiva looked above the Almirah noticing a small trunk. "Usko utha ke le aa" .

Shiva was confused but then he went and brought the trunk which Suman asked for . She took out the key bunch , which always hung on her hips Gloryfying the honour of Mahasaas she is. She picked one of the keys from the bunch and took it out from it. "Yeh le, aur khol isko " 

Shiva took the key and unlocked the trunk. There laid many old things starting from small clothes to many reels in negative not even converted. When he digged more inside he found an album. 

Strange! he knows & even looked to the pictures of all the Albums in their house , then what is this album , which he didn't know about? May be he left this particular one, curiosity aroused in his mind and he took the album .
