"Comparative criminology is the study of the social phenomenon of crime across cultures, to identify differences and similarities in crime patterns.

The modern theories suggest that influences other than personal choice account for much of crime. People do not have free will as they are influenced by other factors, both from their environment and from their physical, social, or psychological make-up. As such, rehabilitation should be the focus of any punishment."

Closing my 'Study on Criminology' book, my eyes made it towards the heaven, staring desperately at the ceiling and thinking about whatever I didn't know about the next. Soobin hadn't returned and I sat there on the dinner table, once preparing for my exams and once taking a glance at Yeonjun and Dami, cooking our lunch.

I wouldn't credit Yeonjun as the greatest chef I had known but the boy had much knowledge on how to cook a few delicacies. But I also understood that his dinner mostly consisted of store bought chips, sodas, desserts and/or chicken, and some random recipe of Ramen.

Sounds okay for college students.

Sena was sitting next to me on the table, turning through the pages of my book and judging whatever got into her head. She was much like me, perhaps because she got her father's genes. The only trait that resembled her with her mother was their way of talking: very serious topics sounded fun.

"Bro," However I was her aunt, she referred to me as Bro because my brother called me Bro more than I did.

"Yes?" I changed the direction of my eyes towards her.

"Won't your bunny friend come today?"

"Bunny?"

"Mhm." She liked Soobin a lot. Soobin resembled her uncle, Dami's brother. Tragically, Dawon left the earth in 2017, one year since Sena was born. He was Dami's only family by blood, before Sena was born. And now that I remember, I had a crush on Dawon.

"He told us that he would come but he hasn't arrived yet. His brother has, he hasn't." I complained, unlocking my phone to ring the man up. I wouldn't be surprised if he announced that he had completely forgotten about us.

But I was stopped in my actions as I heard the front door creek and a tall shadow approach us. Instantly, we all knew it was Soobin.

His face was a pandemonium of exhaustion, exasperation, some excitement and some frustration. To top it all, it had a touch of curiosity and general confusion.

"I'm sorry, I was stuck in the traffic." He apologised and slowly walked towards the basin. He washed the tiredness off his face and heavily breathed in. I pulled a chair and offered him a seat, taking which, he asked for his inhaler.

He held the inhaler with the mouthpiece down and placed his beautiful lips around the mouthpiece so that he could form a tight seal around it. He breathed in slowly, pressing the trigger of the inhaler.
