" Tell me what do you want to know about me? I'll tell you everything. "
He waited for her answer. More like hoped she would answer at least. But she didn't. He sighed knowing he has a long path to go to make her comfortable around him.
She didn't reply so he kept talking.
" umm... so you know my name already. I got admitted here three years ago. Wow! It's been three years. I never realized. How about you ? When did you come here ? "
He said with a hope that she would at least show some reaction. But to no avail she didn't utter a single word. It was like she was lost in her thoughts.
She couldn't believe he was there even before she got admitted.
Just because someone looks all happy doesn't mean they are actually happy. We can't judge anyone like that.
He kept looking at her but got no reaction so he said further.
" So like I said it was not so pleasant to be here at first but I got used to it. I guess you should try to look at the positive things first. It always works , Trust me."
Trust him ?
Would she really be able to trust him ?
" Can I really trust you jiminssi ? "
She said finally after coming out of her little trance.
Jimin's smile brightened even more after listening to her if it was possible. He always smiled so brightly as if he wanted to brighten the whole world by his charms. And he could actually do it.
" Yes , yes. You can trust me. So will you actually be my friend? "
" umm... I guess- I'll think about it. "
He got so happy that he didn't even realize neither his reaction nor his action. He didn't realize his hand being put on her hand which was resting on the bench in between them.
But little did he know that she noticed it. It sure felt weird to her but seeing him being so happy , she decided to shrug it off.
" You know, I always wanted a friend like you."
Jimin said not too long after he sat properly again after being so excited about the thought of having her as a friend.
It was a simple thing, wasn't it ?
Not for him maybe ?!
" Huh? A friend... like me ? "
" uh, I mean... you see... ms.choi have talked so much about you and I think you are a good person. It's not easy to find decent people now a days , that's what I meant to say... yeah."
He said smiling sheepishly.
" Oh! But I don't think you will be so happy being my friend, I'm so boring. "
" I don't think so...who said you are boring?"
She just chuckled rather sadly but decided not to say anything.
" don't worry. I'll make you believe in yourself " He said to himself. Mentally taking a note.
" So , would you like to go on a walk with me ? If not today maybe tomorrow? Hm? "
He said to her hesitantly.
" uh! I think I can go with you. Doctors have told me to go on walk everyday anyways, so you can come along if you want to."
The way he nearly stood up from his place because he was so excited almost made her smile. Almost.
But he couldn't stop the cute squeal to escape his mouth. He ended up giggling.
He wasn't the only one who couldn't control though. Y/N couldn't help but let out a little chuckle. A genuine one on that.
He stopped on his tracks.
" aish! How do you behave like a cute kid ?!"
Cute?
Did he listen it properly?
