12. Can I get a hug, please?

" Oh god! What did I do ?! " she muttered to herself panicking after what she just did. How can she just do that out of nowhere. Her mind wasn't thinking straight, he wasn't letting her mind think straight.

Jimin was the only soul she looked at fondly. He was the only one she could rely on. She believed the words that came out of his lips. He was the one who taught her how to live. Happily.

But why does her heart aches whenever she thinks about him?

It was yet to find out.

On the other side jimin was being paranoid thinking about her. Thinking about his cherry. To whom he lost his heart, not just now or some days ago. He had lost his heart to his childhood best friend a long time ago.

But this time, things are not simple or plain. It's complicated. Neither of them knows what is there for them in the future.

Y/N tried to get her mind off of the thoughts. Thoughts of him. But how could she? He gave her so much to remember.

[Some Days Later]

"Hey, Y/N, let's get you prepared for the last test now okay? " Ms.choi said as she looked at Y/N. They were sitting in the doctor's cabin. It was her surgery the next day, so they had to prepare everything in advance.

" Are you scared? " Ms.choi asked as she rubbed her back comforting her. She just looked at her and nodded hesitantly.

" Don't be worried my child, the doctors have already told that you are going be healthy soon after the surgery. Just take a deep breath and relax now okay? I'll see you after the check up. " Ms.choi smiled at her which she returned weakly.

Ms.choi exited the cabin and closed the door.

" Are you feeling any better now ? " Ms.choi asked her as Y/N was sitting on her bed in her room.

" um, yes I am okay. " She tried to smile but something was bothering her.

" Oh, I almost forgot! Aren't you going to meet your friend today? " Ms.choi said as she was arranging the clothes Y/N needed for upcoming days.

" yes, I am. I'll go now. " Y/N said and hurried outside of the room and towards jimin's room.

Ms.choi just chuckled looking at her dashing out of the room being all impatient to meet her friend.

" Hey! It's been so long since you came into my room. How are you doing? " jimin said as soon as he saw her in front of his door frame.

" Hi Jimin, um- I just finished the check up so I thought I would take a stroll around the building and I just happened to come here, again." Y/N said not wanting him to know that she nearly ran to get here.

" Ooh! Is that so? You are going to get operated tomorrow, how do you feel ? " jimin asked locking eyes with you.

" You ask me how do I feel? Huh! Horrible! I don't even know what I'm feeling anymore. " She said to him as if she knew he would console her and make her pain go away.

" Oh, you poor little thing. It's okay nothing is going to happen. Why are you even scared when I told you that I'm here. You don't have to put up the 'I'm strong' facade you know! You can always talk to- " Jimin started with his little speech but was stopped mid way.

" Can I get a hug, please? " Her mouth left those words without her knowing. When she realized what she just said, a little gasp left her mouth and she looked up at jimin, who was looking at her with wide eyes.

" um- n-no I mean it's okay if y-you don't want to I was just- " her words got stuck in her throat as two arms engulfed her in a warm embrace.

He locked her in his arms delicately as if she would break like a delight glass if he applies more pressure.

It felt like a gusty wind flew all of her concerns and problems away from her as she inhaled his intoxicating scent. He made heart beat. Faster than ever.

She felt so relieved and free. Free like a wind that blows the grass so gently. Free like a bird that flys, up in the sky without any fear. Safe was the word she would use to describe how she felt in his arms.

He rested his head in the crook of her neck making her feel things she never felt before. She was shocked when he hugged her but gradually she hugged him back. Tightly. as if he would go away from her if she moves away from him.

He could listen her heart thumping loudly in her chest as she was hugging him so tightly. However she couldn't. Maybe it was because of her mind was not in the condition to think about anything but him at the moment?!

Or was it something else?
