Just like how her surgery date was coming further and further close they also became more and more close. She didn't realize when she started depending on him for smiling.
She would always find herself thinking about him. She would be happy just by looking at him. Same goes to jimin too. He wasn't supposed to be this close to her. He was supposed to make her live again but...

" Hey jimin, what do you think? Would I be able to see you again?" She said to him as they were sitting on the same bench they first met.
" Why are you talking like that again? I told you to think positive, didn't I? " jimin said to her faking a pout that says he is angry but deep inside he is just trying to make her smile.
" okay okay, I will stop thinking negative. But you have to promise me you will be here when I'm done with my surgery okay? " She said to him with hopefull eyes staring at his beautiful pair of eyes.
" You know what they say, 'promises are meant to be broken' . So I'm not promising you anything. " jimin said imitating to be intimidating but failed miserably as he couldn't hold back the smile.
" you are so mean park jimin. Just wait for me get the surgery done. I'm going to teach you a lesson on how to behave like a good boy." She said to him without thinking twice how it sounded, but little did she know someone was a blushing mess by now.
" Y-yaah ! Min Y/N, you shouldn't talk like this. Remember it was me who taught you how to speak. " jimin said trying to hide his blushing cheeks.
" Yeah yeah I get it Mr.park, I should respect you as my teacher then. " She also played along with him.
" Look at you now, how you can beat me in playing with words. When before, you wouldn't even look at me in the eyes." Jimin said remembering their first meeting.
" Don't remind me of that time." She said to him chuckling.
Then she looked at the clock which was hung on the hospital wall which was not so far from where they were sitting.
" I think I should go back to my room now. They Said I should take more rest from now on. So bye Jimin. " She said to him when she looked at the time.
" Oh okay! I'll see you soon then. Bye. " Jimin said watching her stand up and dust off her hospital pajamas.
She started walking towards the exit gate. She was getting further away from him but soon she halted in her tracks making jimin frown who was looking at her all this time.
He was confused and thinking about what happened when she turned around. Before he could imply anything a soft pair of lips landed on his cheeks making him blink in surprise. Eyes wide with shock.
" Bye chim chim. I'll see you soon. " it was what she said soon after giving him a peck on his cheeks and then she was gone.
Jimin slumped down on the bench now contemplating what on earth just happened.
" Cherry ! " was all he could utter. It sounded more like whisper only he could hear. His mind went blank for a second.
Does she remember that? Remember him?
How on earth is he going to do what he has to do now?
How is he going to face her.
How is he going to face himself.
How is he going lie to her. Last time.
How is he going to live without her.
That is, If he is even alive.
