Love drives you crazy, if it doesn't you ain't doing it right.

Some people might call Lloyd crazy for his decision, but the other day, he looked up cure's for Hanahaki. It turned out that it has no cure, except for one thing. He learned it could be surgically removed, but when the flowers are removed, he will forget everything about Harumi, and all his love for her would be gone. His mother would disapprove. Hell, everyone would disapprove, but Lloyd decided he would rather die with his love for Harumi. He would die with the reputation of loving such a psychopath than living with all those memories to forget. Its destined for him to die, and destiny is sure awful, but Lloyd will not under any circumstances, change his decision of dying with his love for her. He lost himself and his focus in love, and now he will pay the price. If it was meant to be, it would have been. No matter how unthinkable or impossible. If him and Harumi were meant to be. Then destiny would have made it happen. Then it would have been.

Some might ask him, "But if she caused you that much pain then why do you wanna still remember her?"

Lloyd is ashamed to admit, but as much as he hates her, and hates her guts and soul. He still loves her, and he will always love her. The thought won't go away. That's real love, but the love that's the strongest is the love that is never returned. He's gotta kill this love. Before it kills him too. Yet, he loves her more than he will ever show.

And she loves him more than he will ever know.

His acts as the green ninja and skills in combat are sure great, but for a brilliant man, he sure is a fool when it comes to love, and if it's all gonna be over, then he'll take this last moment with him.

Dealing with his HanaHaki disease isn't exactly pleasant. Lloyd continued to throw up blood with that same jade flower petal for the whole week. He even found a few flowers and leaves growing and appearing on his torso. The reason for that is love. It's what makes people hate love. You realize it's love when all you want is for them to be happy, even if your not part of their happiness.

Lloyd still remembers the day Harumi went to prison.

"Lock her up chief" an officer said.

Harumi screamed and begged for the officer to let her go. He threw her in the van and locked the doors. It was the day he actually saw Harumi cry for once, and it made him cry in his heart too.

"Please Lloyd, i swear I'll be better, please" Harumi begged him, staring deep into his green eyes with tears flowing down her cheeks.

"I should have never trusted you" Lloyd says. He looks away because he can never look her in the eye without admitting he loves her too.

"I love you" Harumi only says those three words before the van drives away. Lloyd stays silent in shame and guilt while she screams. The screams are sharp and pierces his ears. It is full of emotions and its raw. Harumi screams until her throat is red and her voice is gone.

Jay tries to cheer him up.

"Chin up Lloyd, she wasn't the right one anyway" he says so easily, but Jay doesnt understand. Nobody does. The feeling of hating her so deeply but loving her at the same time. It's like he's drowning in a pool of emotions, including the love that people call sweet.

Why is love so cruel? Lloyd admits that love isn't lovely. Its ugly.

Lloyds heart aches. Its like someone just threw it on the floor and crushed it, like chest pain but coming from the heart. That strong push of pain coming from his left side is painful, but Nya hugs him. She comforted him and told him that it's all gonna be okay.

Another thing Lloyd likes is hugs. Hugs are beautiful for several reasons, but his father taught him how he should always appreciate a hug, and to never let go first from a hug, because you never know how much the other person needs it.

It was the day when his father was a different man without the evil running through him.

"Hugs aren't just random things, hugs are beautiful" Garmadon said.

"You always tell me things are so beautiful" Lloyd rolls his eyes.

"Yeah, because they are. Everything in life is created for a reason, for beauty. Anything can be shown ugly, but it's up to the person to think in a negative way, or to see the beauty in everything"

"So your telling me spiders are beautiful?" Lloyd asks sarcastically.

Garmadon chuckles, "Well some are, but i like to appreciate every hug i get. Do you know why?"

Lloyd shakes his head.

"Because people only have a heart on their left side, so when someone hugs them, they have a heart on each side"

"I never thought of it like that" His son admits, Garmadon smiles and ruffles his blonde hair.

"The heart is an interesting and amazing thing. It shatters over and over, but still manages to heal "

"Too bad we only have one" Lloyd sighs.

"Yeah, but that's why we try to make life as meaningful as possible, because we only have one heart that beats for only a certain amount of time" and Garmadon grins as he hears his sons giggles.
