Chapter 8

Yuki remained silent as they went to the cafe to grab something to eat. Their drinks were first to be served and the cakes are on their way. Yukimura starred at his companion with amusement. Suddenly, he stood up from his seat, making her confused. He took the necklace on her hands and went on her back. Gently, he placed the necklace on her neck. Then, he went down to her hair and grabbed a few strands. "I hope you take care of my heart" he whispered. Yuki flinched and scoffed at him. "Hey!!" and Yukimura chuckled, returning to his seat. The waiter arrived placed their cakes on the table. She was hesitant to take a bite from the dessert on her front that has been inviting her and making her swallow.

"Do you want me to feed you?" he teased again. "No thanks!" she complained and grunted before taking a bite from the cake. She suddenly blushed. "Delicious..." she muttered and smiled like a little kid. She tried looking at him from her bangs and found him smiling at her. Yuki looked away. "The cake is delicious, you should try it too..." she mumbled. He sweetly smiled and took a bite as well. "Hmm, you are right" and he hummed in interest. "I wonder which one is sweeter?" and he looked at her curiously, making Yuki confused. She pouted and pushed her plate to him. "You can try it out yourself" she offered, not really getting what he meant, making him laugh out of embarrassment. "Iie, I'm fine" he chuckled again. Yuki shrugs and took another bite before smiling brightly. "We still have one stop after this" he commented. "Eh? We still have one thing to go to?" she asked but with excitement. He smiled. "I'm sure you would love it"

They sat silently at the cab with Yuki looking out on the window. Yukimura tried analyzing her on the side. "Yuki" he suddenly called out, making her flinch. "Eh? What is it?" she asked. "Are you feeling okay? Do you feel tired?" he asked with a slight worry on his face. She shook her head. "I feel fine" and she smiled. He also nodded and pats his shoulder. "You can take a nap here. It will be a bit long ride" he offered. Yuki hesitated for a b. With it, but eventually gave in and slowly placed her head on his broad and protective shoulders. With sleepiness suddenly overwhelming her, she found herself sleeping peacefully. Seiichi smiled with satisfaction and tried sweeping the hair from her face.

After 30 minutes on the cab, they arrived at the final place they were going to visit. Being a gentleman as he is, he opened the door for Yuki from the cab and even entering the place.

It was a big greenhouse filled with different kinds of plants and flowers. But what made this particular greenhouse special is because of the variety of flowers that you can find. From the most common ones up to the rare ones. Yuki's eyes glittered with joy. "This is the first time I saw these kind of flowers!!! This here... I just read them from books and.... *sniffs* it really has a very unique scent. Oh!!! This is a very rare one that you can only find on very cold areas..." and she continued to blabber about various types of flowers. Yuki then turned to Yukimura and smiled very brightly. "Thank you for bringing me here, Seiichi" and she hugged him in an instant, making him a bit shocked himself. But, he immediately embraced her in his arms. "I'm so glad you liked it." and he pats her head. After a few minutes, he released her and looked at her in arm's length. "I want to show you something else" and he held her hand to lead her in the innermost part of the garden.

She was completely surprised at the scenery. The field was surrounded by lavender and daisies with various colors. But, the dominant ones are the white ones in the middle. She gasped in excitement. "Wow... This is just like a dream... Seeing a lot of daisies at the same time..." and tears started to fall from her eyes. "Yuki?! Why are you crying?" Seiichi was suddenly alarmed and cupped her cheeks, wiping her tears with his thumbs. She shook her head. "It's just... I'm so happy... It's like the whole day was a dream. I was able to experience a lot of things that I thought I wouldn't have a chance to" and she smiled genuinely. "You really made me happy today"

"That doesn't have to stop today. It's just the beginning.. From now on, I promise you, to show things that you've never seen before, let you experience what you didn't before. You will know how to live normally" he narrated while letting her look up through her chin. Yuki frowned in confusion. "Why are you doing this to me?" she asked that made him chuckle.

"Are you really that dense, huh?" he sighed in defeat. "I'm doing this because I like you. Is that hard to understand?" he confessed and smiled with defeat as well. Knowing how dense this girl, saying it directly is the only way for him to say what he really wants to say. She was out of words as she tried deciphering the statement of the person at her front.

"But, what is there to like about me? I'm just a sick person who has nothing. No name, no family...not even a pretty face or body" she asked, shyly clutching her elbows. "Hmmm. Let's say that it's the fact that I am sick as well that's why I don't look at appearance or physical aspect. But, for the record, you are cute, you know" he explained and cupped her face.

"And I can't wait for the day that we will both be able to finally go out of the hospital and show you to the world" he muttered sweetly and leaned down closer to her face to gently land his soft lips to her cold ones, making her widen her eyes in surprise.

This is the first time she shared something intimate with a person, and she loved the feeling. Yuki was glad that the first time she shared something special...

It was with the person she loves.
