Seraphina:

Sera grinned as he jumped down and was next to her in seconds, "Well, fancy meeting you here!" She knew he wouldn't be able to be content with staying in the tree if she was attacked, hence plan B, which was stabbing a Vampire to give them a trail. Seraphina let him move her arm, appreciating how gently he was in doing so, "I'm okay...really." She was touched by his concerned look, knowing what he was thinking. "No...it won't turn me unless I get their blood in my mouth...and we will not let that happen! Otherwise..." She looked at him, not wanting to say the words he would need to kill her. Sera did not want to do that to Draven, so turning was out of the question. And if she did get blood in her mouth and turned, the blonde would have to kill herself. No way would she let Draven have to do it and suffer like that. Clearing her throat to drop the subject, "Yea, I'm sticking with you, handsome." She smiled at his comment, "Of course, good luck! You should definitely consider kissing me more. Just for luck, of course." Followed along next to him as they tracked the blood trail.

"Awe, it's our first real hunt together! Too bad we don't have any pics we can take to remember this...well, the scars should be enough!" She smiled at him, enjoying herself way more than she probably should. But come on, they were free from hell town, together on a hunt, and they were still breathing. What could be better? Oh, pizza...Her and Draven could celebrate with that after! Knowing it was tough on him to see her in pain, she did her best to pretend she was okay. Mind over matter, right? So, it was just as much for her as it was for him.

Stopping when he did, meeting his eyes, she nodded, "Yea, that could definitely be the place." Squeezing through the fence as quickly as she could, her eyes surveyed the area while waiting for him to join her. "It's huge...." That didn't mean it was filled with Vampires, but it wasn't a good sign. Nodding in agreement for his plan, "Got it. Let's seal all the exits so they can only come out the front...." Seraphina was hesitant to leave his side, just as he was to leave hers. "No getting hurt either, hear me?" The Hunter hated separating, even if for only a few minutes, but that was hunting. They had to work as a team, and sometimes it had to be apart. Witnessing him go around back, Sera moved to the opposite side.

Seeing a window, she looked around, spotting an old shed. Shoving it to block any exit from the window before checking the rest of the building. Everything else looked secure, so the blonde moved to the front to not see him there, and instant panic engulfed her. "Draven?" praying he was there, just out of sight. Moving to the other side, she couldn't see him anywhere. "Fuck. Fuck. Fuck." Forcing herself to calm down, needing to stick to the plan. Seraphina didn't want to get him killed by being reckless, as hard as it was to not rush in there after him. Her eyes fell on an old dumpster, and she rolled it to block the last exit, locking its wheels so they couldn't move it away.

She tried to look inside the windows, but they were too dirty to see anything, "You better be okay...." Her mind kept thinking the worst, making it hard to concentrate. Moving again to the front, she listened at the door and cursed, hearing at least two guarding it. "I hate smart monsters." Traveling back to the dumpster, she climbed on top, using her dagger to open one of the windows slightly so she could peer inside, "Oh, not good..." there were many Vampires on the first floor; how was she going to get in there, and where was Draven? He was nowhere to be seen, her heart pounding in her chest so hard she was sure they could hear it...think, think, think. Her throbbing shoulder reminded her she was the distraction she needed. Removing her bloody shirt, thankful she was wearing a tank top underneath, Sera squeezed it through the small opening of the window, dropping it into a vacant corner of the large room, not having to wait long for the sensitive noses of the Vampires to start sniffing the air.

The two guards moved from the door with the others to explore the smell they just couldn't resist, and she rushed to the front, her hand on the knob, machete held tight within in fingers. She took a deep breath, praying Draven was still alive. She quietly opened the door and entered the large warehouse. Seeing all the Vampires crowding in the far corner, she explored the main level, going from office to office. "Draven?" She couldn't help but whisper a plea that he was somewhere in one of the rooms. The only thing found was his machete. Grabbing it before entering the main area again, and was greeted by the pack. "Where the fuck is my Draven?" The Vamps growled at her, all rushing at once, "Fuck you, assholes!" With strength fueled by adrenaline, and her need to find Draven, she began slicing through any Vamp that came near her. She kicked a few back to give her space to fight as she used both machetes against the large horde.
