Seraphina:

Sera heard movement and searched for the source. Seeing Draven stir, she stared, needing him to look at her. "Draven?" The few seconds of waiting for him to answer was agony, but not as much as his words. "What do you mean?!" it dawned on her what must have occurred, "Did Camiel do this?" Not that he would remember that...she felt the tears build up, "Draven...please tell me you know who I am!" As her eyes met his, she could tell he hadn't been joking and actually didn't know her. Her heart broke, and she couldn't breathe. Shaking her head to say it wasn't true, he was just messing with her...during a life and death situation...yea, that doesn't sound like Draven...she cursed Camiel, he did this! He lied to her, and the desire to destroy the angel for this was intense. The angel took the only person that mattered to her, the only good thing in her life, the other half of her soul. Unable to live without Draven knowing her? It would destroy her. Now praying for the dagger. For two reasons, one needing revenge on the Angel and giving the demons a weapon to do it made her feel like it was her defeating the one person that just ruined her existence. And two...Sera couldn't bear the pain of not being with Draven.

Just when she was about to call Berith, ready to get this over with, she heard her favorite voice again...did he just say her name?! "Draven! Yes! Yes, it's me!" She exhaled in relief, a surge of energy coursing through her...you dodged a bullet, you Angel freak...Sera met Draven's eyes as he looked at her, nodding that she understood, her trust in him absolute. He could tell her to jump into a clearly bottomless pit. She would do as told...as long as he told her; that's how much she trusted Draven, with all her heart and soul. As the demon entered, her eyes were squeezed shut, faking still being unconscious, as Berith stood over her. "Well, princess, it's time. I hope you're ready!" Breath held in panic, wondering if she would feel the sudden sting of metal entering her chest any minute. Fear that Draven and she were close to the end. So close to getting free. Sudden noise driving the enemy off had a relieved breath exhaled, thankful for whatever ex Machina had just saved her ass. Her head turned to see Draven's smile. Happiness flooded her as Sera smiled back, "What are you smiling at? Have you seen our situation?" Teasing him, feeling grateful he was alive, awake, and knew who she was, "Do I have any Ideas? Just one. It involves getting the hell out of here! Sounded like a plan anyway...." Seraphina searched the room for weapons, salt would be nice, but nothing caught her eye. Some building materials were on the side of the wall where she was tied. Maybe something there would work.

Her search was interrupted by the sudden appearance of her hero, "Well, hello, love!" She couldn't even begin to explain how elated she felt with him next to her, and Sera held out her hands for him to be able to cut the ropes. Gripping the tool, she felt its cool metal touching her skin, hiding it from view. His touch sent that familiar sense of security through her that was always longed for. Seraphina fought him but hated having to lay back down. Even knowing there was no choice, the blonde hated him having to leave her side. When Berith entered back, her eyes were already closed. As they stood over her, thoughts of whether to fight or wait heavily debated in her head. She didn't know what was happening, as she couldn't see the dagger or anything. Her hand squeezing the tool to conceal it and get comfort in holding something Draven had given her. She tried to pay attention to what the demon was saying but instead listened for any sound of Draven being noticed or harmed. When Berith shouted, she opened her eyes to see the rope around his neck. Quickly she sat up, her hands moving frantically to get her ankles freed; however, she paused, her eyes widening in horror as her soulmate was thrown across the room, screaming out as he collided with the wall, "Draven!!"

Berith picked up the blade, "Can I have some freaking assistance here, dammit!" Two Demon entered to answer the demand, "Bring him over here, you worthless idiots! How the fuck could you two bloody idiots not check his pockets!" Each Demon took an arm of Draven's to pull him closer to a grinning Berith, "Nice try, asshole, I give you that!" He held up the soul blade, "Do you know what this is? It's the end. Final death, no afterlife, no future, no nothing. It will kill anything, even an Angel. It's quite impressive!" Berith leaned it against Draven's chest, "I should use it on you!" he gritted his teeth as he growled at him, "But no!" he smiled, removing it, and walking back to Sera, "That wouldn't be enough revenge for me! Not enough PAIN! You see, I'm the KING of torture!" He snatched the tool from Sera, "Now let me explain, so you get the full extent of the torture; otherwise, it's no fun for me. Pay close attention!" Berith used the tool to slice a line across her arm, not deep, but the blood dripped down her arm, and she narrowed her eyes at the demon but didn't speak, as she was trying to think of a plan to keep this dick away from her man. "See how a normal wound bleeds red? Fun, but not fun enough! Now this blade? Oh, this one is special...." He held up the soul blade, grabbed Sera's arm tight, and sliced another line, but this time, no blood dripped out, but a blue light shined through the wound, "This lovely weapon here...yea, it kills the SOUL!"
