Their hands were a blur, touching and grabbing for every inch of the other's body they could reach. Jennie was over the moon, and every time their mouths pulled apart she couldn't control her smile. It was fueled by Jisoo smiling right back at her.

Jennie was aching under Jisoo's touch. She had forgotten what this felt like. She reached down and grabbed Jisoo's backside, pulling her even tighter against her, and she felt Jisoo's excitement pressed against her. It had been a long long time since she had successfully excited a woman, and it had taken great effort in the past.

This had been exquisitely uncomplicated, easy, and natural. No mind games, no insecurities, no pressure, and no nasty history between them holding them back.

Jennie felt a pang of fear. Was she any good at this? Taehyung had planted all kinds of doubt in her head about her sexual prowess and now she had a woman in her arms that she wanted to please. And to be pleased.

With a surge of frustration she expelled all thoughts of Taehyung from her mind. How dare he intrude in a moment like this...

Jisoo brought her mind back to the moment.

"I want all of you," Jisoo whispered.

All Jennie could muster was a strained uh huh.

"Can I have you? Tell me."

"Yes," it was more air than words.

Jisoo sighed. She moved in and kissed Jennie hard, thrusting her tongue into Jennie's mouth.

The next moments were a heady blur of clothing flung across the floor, flashes of skin, grabbing hands, and breathy moans as childhood friends united to become lovers.

Jennie sat in Jisoo's lap and they moved together, edging closer to satisfaction, hardly breaking eye contact except to lean back to release their final groans of relief.

They sat connected for what seemed like forever in the humid, afterglow of total gratification. Jisoo caressed Jennie's back and placed light kisses across her neck as they both caught their breath.

Jennie, having finally regained her wits, touched Jisoo's face and looked at her. Jisoo smiled her perfect heart-shape lips.

"Wow, you're big." Jennie said.

"Yeah," Jisoo replied laughing.

Jisoo leaned back onto the mattress and, with Jennie still wrapped in her arms on her lap, took Jennie down with her. She positioned herself behind Jennie and entwined Jennie with her arm.

After a moment, Jennie spoke. "We're spooning," she giggled, "can you believe it?"

"There are a number of things I can't believe at this moment," Jisoo said from behind her, and Jennie could have sworn she could hear the crooked smile in Jisoo's voice.

Jennie fell asleep to the calming rhythm of Jisoo's breathing behind her. It was the first comfortable sleep with a woman she had ever had, even though they were in a treehouse, on an inflatable mattress, on a sleeping bag. It just felt right. Jisoo was like magic.

With no concept of time in their lofty hideout, Jennie awoke. It was still dark. Darker than before. Her cat-eyes examined the room and she noted that some of the candles had burned out. She turned to Jisoo whose limbs were sprawled out. Jisoo was sleeping deeply. So beautiful.

Jennie crawled off the mattress and grabbed the last lit candle, hoping to light the others with it. Candle in hand, she crossed the room on tiptoe, careful not to creak the floorboards.

She stopped as she passed the great tree trunk in the center of the room. The blue Christmas lights were still aglow and she thought she saw something in the corner of her eye. Jennie approached the trunk and held out the candle to see better, memories of Nancy Drew novels dancing through her head.

What was that on the trunk?

Jennie pushed the string of lights aside.

No. It couldn't be.

Her heart did the jitterbug. Carved crudely into the bark was a massive, cartoonish heart. Inside the heart, an unmistakable image.
