THE talk with Emperor Magnus ended fine and a lot has changed eversince. It's been two days since their first healthy conversation and the Emperor has been visiting her a lot. Today, Magnus asked for her time because he will be busy for the following days. He said he wanted to be with her before he gets all stressed out with the Empire. The Grand Emperor, the head of the Vassily family will be visiting the fourth empire and it'll cost Magnus a lot of time. So before that happens, he wanted to be with his runaway concubine.

As usual, watching the field of dandelions beneath the wisteria tree is their first spot and will probably be their meeting place. They walked around the Palace, they spent the whole day talking about things again, ate foods delivered by the servants and watch the field of beautiful flowers. Perhaps, they're finally getting along. Magnus is trying so hard to compose himself while Blandine is getting a lot of courage and bravery to face the Emperor now.

It's already late in the afternoon and unbelievably, they're still together! This might be the longest time they've spent with each other. It was always awkward for Blandine. She had the thought that entering the Emperor's radius or diameter would be her worst nightmare. But look, it's not too bad watching the sun fall on the field of dandelions with his majesty talking about things they've never thought they'd share. 

Perhaps she has become tired of running away too. She's probably drained from escaping the Emperor. So maybe this time she'll face him. May it be merriment or sorrow, she'll face him now. Blandine realized she still have a lot to learn about the Emperor. It actually feels great to talk to him casually. She thought she'd die first before that day came. But yeah, she's still alive right now beside him. 

"My emperor..." She enunciated after a break of their long conversation, she has the nerve to talk now, "It's getting late... and looks like it's going to rain."

Magnus immediately stood up beneath the tree and offered a hand, "Shall we head back, my lady?"

Blandine accepted his hand, "Shall we, my emperor?"

The Emperor had an obviously hard time letting her hand go, but he let go eventually. Blandine secretly smiled. It's fun watching him suffer hiding his affection and emotion towards her. He's always been ruthless, rough, and forceful. So seeing him back out and let her go is a completely different scene. Magnus is really having a hard time concealing his affection. He looks like he wanted to hold her so bad, but he can't now since he promised not to hurt her again or cross another boundary.

"Let's go, my lady."

The Emperor took his walk first and she immediately followed by his side. Unfortunately, the rain poured so hard without any warning so they ended up getting wet and staying in the nearest Imperial Palace hut. It was cold, really, Blandine couldn't help but shiver. The Emperor noticed it immediately and he panicked. He turned to forcefully cover her under his cloth but he withdraw before even touching a tip of her bare skin.

What the hell? Blandine's eyes widened as she looked down. The Emperor is really controlling himself? This fucking hypocrite! She almost had a heart attack when he was about to grip her, but then he backed away and it shocked her even more. She's still not used to this Magnus, she doesn't know if this is the real him or he's just lurking himself in the shadows.

"Sorry, I'm sorry..." Magnus backed down and took off his imperial gown, "I won't do it again, I won't do anything to you. You don't have to be scared. But you need to take your clothes off or else you'll get sick."
